ROSIE'S POV

I love to play music and just drive around. Sometimes I'll plug in my aux, but for the most part I just listen to the radio. I started my car and immediately heard the radio play.

"It's 93.7 playing all the hits, next up we have former One Direction member Harry Styles with 'Sign of the times.'"

I was going to give the song a try but I thought I would plug in my aux today. I haven't done aux in so long I felt like I needed to. I hit shuffle and started to drive. The first song to play was 'Heart Like Yours' by Willamette Stone. *play song if you want*

I've always loved this song. It's one of my good memories from back home. Music in general reminds me of home. I used to drive around all the time and listen to music with my friends. We would scream songs and cry to them too, we didn't care what song it was as long as we were having fun. This song reminds me of a guy I use to date.my only boyfriend actually.  One day he sent me this song and told me it reminded him of us. I listened to it and have loved it ever since. Little did I know what was in store after that. A month later I got a job offer at a high school in LA and I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me, but he didn't agree. He told me it was a stupid idea and that there was no reason to go so far away from him. I told him I was taking the job no matter what he said and that's when he said if I left he was breaking up with me. I wasn't going to give up moving to my dream city just because some boy says I can't. So that was it, he left. For some reason, it didn't hurt that much. In fact, it didn't really hurt at all. I understood that he didn't want me to leave him but the fact that he couldn't even be supportive of me doing what I loved showed he never truly loved me in the first place. I haven't spoken to him since he ended it and honestly It's probably for the best if it stays like that.

I continue to sing along to the song when it randomly stops and 'Moral of the Story' by Ashe starts to play. I pick up my phone in confusion and see I am getting an incoming call from my friend Laney.

What? She never calls me?

"Hello?" I answer confused

"HEY GIRL! Long time no talk, how are you?" she practically yells into the phone. Laney has always been a little ball of energy and I always love to hear from her. She always knew how to put a smile on my face.

"Hi! I'm good, how are you?" I respond.

"I'm good! Listen, I was wondering if you would be up to be in a music video?" she asked me.

"A music video?" where did she come up with an idea like that?

"Ya! So you know Harry Styles, right? Well niall told me that harry is planning on making a music video for his new song 'Woman' and they need a lady in it and you would be perfect. I know it's kind of out of your comfort zone but It would be the perfect opportunity for you. Plus, I know you could always use the extra money" she word vomits to me.

A little backstory on laney. She met Niall at a pub during her trip to Ireland. They hooked up and I guess couldn't get enough of each other, now they're dating. I've never met him or even spoken to him but she sure does like to talk about him. From what she says he seems like a nice guy.

"I don't know nay nay that just doesn't sound like me. Also, I don't know anything about this person or the music video." I try to decline as nicely as possible.

"Oh, you see, there's our first problem, I already told Niall to tell Harry you would come to the audition." she quietly says.

"You did what!?" I freak out.

" it's just the audition Rosie, it doesn't mean you got the part."

"Last time I checked I have no acting experience nay nay."

"Excuse me, what about the little mermaid?" she asks me.

"I was a fish! I stood in the back of the stage and walked across. This is so different" I fight back.

"Whatever you at least have to try it out," she tells me, "i'll send you all the details right now. Niall and I are going to walk the dog. Love you! you'll be great! Byeee!" she quickly says

"Laney gr-" I couldn't get my sentence out before she hung up the phone. I let out the loudest sign of my life. Why me? She has so many friends, why would she pick me? I mean, she wasn't wrong when she said I need the money, but I don't really wanna be in a music video for something I know nothing about.

I pull around the corner and park near the cafe. As I start to get out I see the stack of papers on my passenger seat.

Well I should probably grade these papers while I sit here

As I grab the papers my phone dings again. I look and see that she sent me a file with all the information I needed to fill out and an email I needed to send it to. I take a second to figure out if I'm really going to do this until I finally decide I might as well. Like she said, It's just an audition, maybe I wouldn't even get it.

I fill out the information on my phone as I walk towards the cafe. Once I reach for the door, I can see out of the corner of my eye two other gentlemen walking towards me. I look over my shoulder and see they are walking into the cafe as well. I stepped out of the way to let them in first because they seemed in a rush. The man in front thanked me while looking down which I thought was a little rude, but I mean I wasn't expecting anything more. He seemed scary enough as it was. The man behind him looked like he was struggling a little. I could see the worry in his eyes as he played with the rings on his fingers. He wasn't a bad looking man, in fact he was quiet handsome. He was wearing some black jeans with a hole in one knee, a rolling stones T-shirt with sunglasses hanging off the neck of them, and a black flap cap. I liked the rolling stones so when he passed me I looked at his face and gave him a little smirk. I saw his eyes stop at my cherry necklace then quickly look up at my smirk. He gave me a look, but I couldn't tell if it was shock or confusion.

Either way, he definitely had something on his mind.
