HARRY'S POV

Rosie.

What a beautiful name. I had always guessed it was something unique but nothing as beautiful as Rosie. Maybe it's short for something. Do her friends call her ro? I have so many questions I wish I could ask her.

"Hello? Harry? Are you listening to me?" something knocks me out of my trance.

"Huh? What were you saying?" I ask trying to catch up.

"Aren't you excited they liked your idea? I mean, now we can finally get started with this music video. It's exciting! Right?" jeff says trying to get me excited. I was still a little upset with him after he rudely pulled me out of the cafe without letting me speak to her. I couldn't even introduce myself to her. Of course i couldn't tell jeff why I was upset with him so to avoid talking about it I just silently got over it.

"Yeah, it's really exciting. When do you think we'll be getting started with everything?" I ask trying to carry teh conversation as much as I can.

"Well." he says trailing off his voice. "I might have already started it."

"Jeffery, what did you do?" I asked very concerned now.

"Let's just say I kinda knew your idea was going to get a yes from the producers and I put out a mass text to a lot of people and auditions are Wednesday." he spoke her quickly so that he could get it all out before I could cut him off.

"Jeffery! Why would you do that? What if they said no? Then what were you going to do?" I asked. I was officially very upset with him now.

"Oh, relax. The idea is amazing I knew they were gonna love it, and if they didn't we would've just cancelled the auditions no big deal."

Jeff always does things without telling me and it really upsets me. I like to know what is going on most of the time, especially when it comes to my career.

"Okay but I can't wednesday, gemma is coming into town on tuesday and doesn't leave til thursday. I promised her I would spend time with her and I won't leave her for some audition."I say in my angry tone now so that he can see in frustrated.

"Then don't come. We have enough people to make decisions. Also we don't need that many extras so it will be fine. The music video won't be til Friday which is perfect."

I give him an annoyed sigh and turn away from him to look out the window. I guess it was okay that I wasn't going to pick the extras. I mean i didn't care too much about which extras they picked. It wasn't like I had to become life long friends with them, it was strictly business.

"Anyways," he continues, "I think we should celebrate tonight." Jeff will take any opportunity he can to celebrate something. It's one of his good, unique qualities.

"Celebrate? For what?" I ask with some sass. I coudn't help it.

"Your new music video stupid, what else? We can go down to that bar you like. We'll get mitch, sarah, adam, everyone and go just have fun." he seemed really excited to get out. I wasn't really in the mood to get celebrate tonight, but maybe I should. I think I was just exhausted. Surprisingly, I'm not use to waking up at 9AM.

Once I got home I was debating on if I should go back to sleep or wake myself up. Maybe I should make coffee. I still can't believe we went to a coffee shop and didn't get coffee. Who does that? I walk over to the sink to put water in my kettle. I set it on the stove and walk into the living room. I walk to the bookshelf to see if there is anything good to read. I really liked to read, mainly poetry. Sometimes i'll get into the deep poetry, but I also love the simply, straight to the point kind. I remember gemma told me to read a new book.

The sun and her flowers.

I bought the book right after she told me to buy it. Since then it kind of been collecting dust on my shelf. I dig throught the books adn finally find it. I take it out and bring it to the kitchen table deciding to read it while I wait for my water to boil. I read the back first

'Think of those flowers you plant

In the garden each year

They will teach you

That people too

Must wilt

Fall

Root

Rise

In order to bloom.

"Wow" i think out load after reading just the first poem. I open it to a random page that is titled "Rising". I turn to the first poem:

This morning

I told the flowers

What I'd do for you

And they bloomed

I continue to read until I hear my water boil. I set the book down and go to make my coffee. As I make it I can't help but think of her.

I wonder if she likes poetry as much as I do? Would she think it's weird for a guy to like poetry? What does she do for a living? What does she like?

I sigh. "Oh Rosie, If only we could meet again."
