Harry's pov:

I woke up to my alarm that I set the night before. I immediately jump out of bed and head to the bathroom to get ready. I couldn't stop thinking of the day before, and our date that I know she would never call a date. It was so perfect, just like I had hoped. The way we danced so close and we laughed so much together. I couldn't help but keep a permanent smile on my face. As I brushed my teeth I tried to think if I should ask her to hang out again today, but I ultimately thought that would be too pushy. Plus, there was no way we couldn't have topped the night before.

But maybe she would come over for a friends hangout?
I grabbed my phone and call jeff right away.

"What's up?" he answers.

"Hi, Wanna come over for brunch?" I ask him.

"Um, no."

"Why?" I whine to him.

"Why do you want to have brunch so bad?" he asked.

Shit, what was I supposed to say?

"I just want some company, I've felt lonely recently," I tell him, pulling the 'make him feel bad' card.

"Ugh, fine. I'll be over in twenty, and I'm bringing people. That's cool?"

"Yup , bring whoever you want," I tell him, hanging up the phone. I then go to my messages and hit my band group chat telling them all to come over. They all respond rather quickly saying they would all be able to come. Mitch said he was right by my house already so he would just come now, and the rest said they would be there in ten minutes.

It was only a couple minutes later when I heard the doorbell ring. I open it to see Mitch standing in front of me with a smile on his face. I bring him in for a quick him, welcoming him in as we go to sit on the couch.

"How are you, my friend?" he asks me, "how was the music video?"

"It was very good actually, I met some new people that were a lot of fun," I tell her trying to not make anything obvious.

"One of them was a girl, wasn't it?" he asks while smirking and my eyes widen at him.

"How did you know?" I ask in pure shock.

"Because I'm not a complete idiot, Harry. You wouldn't have said you met fun people if one of them wasn't someone you like" he tells me.

Damn, he was good.

"So," he continued, "who is she?"

"Her name is Rosie, she was the leading lady and works at beachwood. I ran into her there yesterday and we hung out when she got off," I tell him, keeping it short and sweet.

"Did you bring her to mel's?" he asked and I scoffed and looked down.

"Yeah, I did. We ate and joked and danced."

"You danced with her?" he asked me in shock. I nod in reply. "Woah, was it like a middle school dance situation where you leave room for the holy spirit or was it.." he trails off. I nod again, signalling it was more than that.

"She was resting her head on my shoulder and we danced for what seemed like forever. I don't know if it was just me, but I didn't want the moment to end mitch," I admit to him, knowing he would make fun of me for it but I didn't care anymore.

"Man you guys are crazy for each other, huh?" He sighs laying his head back on the couch.

"That's the problem. She has a boyfriend," Immediately, I see Mitch shoot his body up and face me.

"No way," he says and I just nod, not sure what to say, "damn. What are you gonna do then. Because, you're obviously crazy about her."

"I'm not sure yet, when I tried talking about her boyfriend she didn't want to. I was going to invite her today but now I'm having second thoughts."
