Reagan's POV:
Time flew by faster than I would've liked, but I was excited to go home and see my parents for break. Kenna wouldn't shut up about the trip and her excitement was enough for the both of us. Gabriella kept her promise and never once tried to talk about the incident that took place in her room. Although I wouldn't mind talking about it now. I was able to finally admit it to myself that I was in fact very attracted to one of my students. I heard accepting the truth could be therapeutic so why not give it a try and just admit to myself that I had feelings for this girl. This very beauty and intelligent woman who was violating my thoughts 24/7. I was tutoring her three days a week, and this was the last day before break. As excited as I was, I knew I was going to miss her. We were now in the art studio, she knew what she needed to do and didn't really need me, but she insisted that I be there so of course I showed up as moral support by pulling out a blank canvas and started doing my own thing to let her focus. Or because you can't say no to her.
"Gabby honey?" I called not turning around but still feeling her eyes on me.
"Yes?" she answered, and I could hear the smile in her voice.
"Stop staring at my ass." I said glancing back at her. She quickly averted her eyes away from me but not before clumsily dropping the can of paint on the ground. I don't think I've ever seen her this nervous before, this is probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I thought to myself watching her fumble with the paint, dropping it for the second time when she tried to pick it up and her glasses fell off her face that was now turning red. I held back my laugh and bent down to help her. She stood up looking at the wall behind me. I gently put the glasses back on her face before kissing her cheeks. "Who knew you were such a klutz?" I asked, smiling at her looking like she wanted to crawl under a rock and hide. "Now who's making who nervous?" I asked laughing at her before turning back around to my painting.
"You're still staring love."
"Shit sorry" she said before turning back around to her table, and I could feel my cheeks hurting from smiling so big.
Two hours later and I was sitting in her car dreading my car ride home. I didn't want to leave and neither did she.
"I mean you'll be with your parents and hopefully he won't make a scene." she said stuffing her face with more chips.
"Yeah hopefully." I said looking at her.
"I wish I could take you with me." I said laughing and she smiled in response.
"I have an idea." she said, pulling out her phone. "Why don't I give you my number, and every time he pisses you off you can send me a text, and I'll cheer you up with my amazing self." she laughed and I playfully rolled my eyes.
"And I'll give you my number and if things are as bad with your parents as you think they are, don't hesitate to text or call me. And I'll cheer you up with my amazing self." she laughed and agreed. We exchanged numbers and I got out getting ready to walk to my car.
"Reagan?" I turned around and walked to her side looking at her. She looked at me and slowly reached over and kissed my cheeks. I blushed and smiled.
"Aw, aren't you such a gentleman." I laughed and quickly pecked her lips. She winked and drove off leaving me there with the butterflies.
