Chapter 13

Inayusan na kami ng mga make up artist at isinuot ko na ang gown na gagamitin ko sa shoot.

It's a biege colored gown with cristals around my waist. It looks simple yet elegant.

Ang partner ko naman, which is Zach, ay naka suot ng black tuxedo and a biege colored necktie to mach my gown. He looks so good with his undercut hair parted in the middle.

Naghihintay kami na matapos ang shoot ng ibang co models. Kaya nakaupo lang kami sa couch. I am waiting for Jaycee's text, but I guess he's too busy. Ako nalang ang bibisita sa kanyang office mamaya since wala na naman akong gagawin pagkatapos nito.

Tinawag na kami ng isang staff para kuhanan ng pictures.

"Leona, you look so good. Okay, sit down in that chair while you, Zach, tayo ka lang sa right side ni Leona. Formal shot lang to kaya relax lang." the photographer said.

Ginawa namin ang kanyang inutos at kinuhanan niya kami ng ilang shots.

"Okay next shot. Can you both improvise?" he said.

Sanay na kami mag improvise ng poses. Tumayo ako, hinawakan ko ang balikat ni Zach gamit ang right hand ko at ang left naman ay nakahawak sa chin niya. Habang si Zach naman ay naka palupot ang kamay sa baywang ko. We looked at each other in the eyes.

"That's great! Now, look at the camera." the photographer ordered.

We did a couple of poses, then we're done.

Ang susunod na kukunan ay si Kate. Dahil first time ko siyang maka trabaho, nanuod ako sa pagkuha ng pictures sa kanya.

Wala siyang partner kasi ang gown na isinuot niya ay ang pinaka maganda at pinaka elegante sa buong collection.

It's a red fitting long gown with crystals all over it. Bagay na bagay sa kanya dahil perpekto ang pagkaka shape ng kanyang katawan.

She posed for the camera. Hindi na siya sinabihan ng photographer kung ano ang gagawing pose. She's really a professional model huh.

Nang natapos na ang ilang shots, pupunta na sana ako sa dressing room nang nakita ko si Jaycee sa likod ko. I was surprised, akala ko busy siya ngayon.

Lalapit na sana ako nang biglang nakarinig ako ng tili sa likod ko.

"Ihhhhhhh! Jayceee! I missed you so much" si Kate. She ran towards Jaycee and hugged her. Jaycee was surprised.

"Kate? You're here?" hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Jaycee.

Ako naman ay natulala sa nakita. What just happened? Magkakilala sila? Right! Jaycee lived in states, so they probably know each other.

Bumitaw sa pagkaka yakap si Kate at humarap kay Jaycee. He was still surprised but he still managed to smile.

"What are you doing here? I was supposed to visit you in your law firm later. It's been a long time." she said.

Nakatayo lang ako at nakikinig sa kanilang usapan.

"I'm here to pick up my wife." sabi ni Jaycee. Biglang namutla si Kate sa narinig. Nawala ang ngiti sa kanyang mukha.

Tiningnan ako ni Jaycee.

"Nagkakilala na siguro kayo ni Leona? She's my wife." Lumingon si Kate sa kinatatayuan ko na namumutla. She looks like she's about to cry.

I smiled at lumapit ako kay Jaycee.

"I didn't know that you're married." she said with an awkward smile.

Inakbayan ako si Jaycee.

"Yeah, I haven't told anyone from states yet. I plan on bringing her there to introduce her to them personally." napatingin ako sa kanya sa sinabi niya.

Really? He thought about that? I just can't help myself but smile.

"Oh." she said. She looks hurt. Does she like Jaycee? Or did something happen between them before?

"C-congratulations then. Uhm. E-excuse me. I have to change my clothes." she said then left.

She looks so affected. I'm confused.

Ipinag kibit balikat ko nalang ang nangyari at ibinaling ang tingin kay Jaycee.

"What are you doing here? I was planning to visit your office since yoy didn't text me." I raised my brows.

"I was busy so I didn't have time to text and It won't be a surprise if I text you." he reasoned out.

"How did you know I was here by the way?" Nakakunot noo kong tanong.

"I asked your driver." he said.

Pumunta na kami sa dressing room. Nag bihis ako at tinanggal ang make up habang si Jaycee naman ay naka upo sa couch.

I just wore a simple white V-neck shirt tucked in my faded ripped jeans. It's comfortable so I like it.

"I'm done!" I cheerfully said.

Tumingin siya sa akin at tumayo.

"Okay let's go?" he opened the door for me. Sabay kaming lumabas. Nakita namin si Kate na naglalakad kaya tinawag siya ni Jaycee.

"Hey Kate! We're going out for lunch, want to join?" he asked.

Unlike her dissapointed reaction a while ago, she just gave us a sweet smile. "Sure, I'll just get my stuff." she said.

Napagkasunduan naming kumain sa isang high end restaurant at magkita nalang doon since may dalang sasakyan si Kate. Ako naman sumabay kay Jaycee, gamit ang kanyang Black Jaguar na sasakyan.

I'm curious. They must be really close. Judging by how Kate reacted when she saw Jaycee a while ago, it seems like Kate has feelings towards Jaycee.
