Making up

Logan's POV

I finish packing all my boxes. My parents lost the case and now my guardian is Remy. Virgil's older brother, Remy. So... Great.

Emile helps me put all of the boxes in his van. Then we start driving to the house.

This is crazy. I missed almost four weeks of school, I haven't talked to Virgil since we broke up, and my parents are mad at me. But I don't have to live with them or deal with them anymore.

We reach the house and I feel a pit form in my stomach. I walk inside and see Roman, Patton, and Virgil on the couch.

Roman waves at us, Patton is asleep, and Virgil... He looks so horrible. I feel even more guilty and awful. He is also sleeping.

Roman says, "I don't think they could handle how awesome the Lion King is."

Patton stirs awake, "Hm? Oh, welcome back." He smiles at us.

Roman and Patton carefully get off the couch as to not disturb Virgil, and hug me. I hear shuffling and then Virgil is gone.

Remy sighs, "Did you two tell him?"

Roman shakes his head, "No. We tried telling him that Logan was forced to break up with him but with what Logan said, he didn't believe us."

I feel awful and Remy looks at me, I sigh, "I should leave."

Patton shakes his head, "You need to talk to him."

I nod and walk to Virgil's room. I open the door slowly and quietly. He is laying on his bed, curled into a ball. I hear him sniffling.

I take a moment before I start talking, "Can we talk?"

He goes quiet and pulls the cover over himself.

I take a step towards him, "I never meant anything I said. I need you and these last few weeks have been hell. I always thought about you and I was worried about you. Virgil, I love you so much."

He looks at me, he looks exhausted, "I don't believe you."

I look down then I move over to him. I kiss him and hold him close. After a minute or so I pull away.

I whisper, "I love you so much. You mean everything to me. I hated that I had to say those things to you and I love you so much."

He hugs me and I notice how skinny he is. I wrap my arms around his waist, "You haven't been eating."

He buries his face in my shoulder, "I was never hungry." He mumbled.

I keep hugging him, "Go shower and I'll make you some food."

"But I want to cuddle."

"Me too but your health is important."

He sighs and kisses me, "Fine... But we are dating again. Right?"

"Yes. If you want," I answer.

He smiles, "Yes. Please."

He goes to the bathroom and I help Patton make some food. Once Virgil comes out looking a tad bit better we then eat and go lay down on his bed.

Virgil's POV

Logan is holding me gently aganist his chest. His heart beat is calming and he is rubbing my back slowly and comfortingly.

Logan says, "I'm so sorry. I know I could never apologize enough for the pain you had gone through."

I look at him to see he has tears in his eyes, "It wasn't your fault. And it's okay. We are together again."

Logan kisses my forehead, "I'm so glad to have you. I will never hurt you again and that is a promise."

I smile and fall asleep happily. Listening to his heartbeat.
