Chapter 8 : Happy Birthday

It was pleasent morning of Ganesh chaturthi. Riddhima was working with his mother in kitchen.

Riddhima : "Mumma please help me with this Modak."

Prerna : "Sure beta, as you will go to Dagdu Sheth today. Right..."

Riddhima : "Yes mumma."

Her mother helped her and they made Modak for offering.

After that Riddhima went to get ready.
She wore baby pink salawar suit, made her hair open and wear delicate jewellery.

Just then she received a message from Vansh.

"Will reach in 15 minutes."

Riddhima thought now she must ready everything. She prepare whole plate for offering and put Modak in it.

Before leaving for temple she said bye to her mother.

She was waiting for Vansh downstairs. She got wide smile seeing Vansh coming.

Vansh stopped his car. She got into it.

Vansh : "Good morning ....Beautiful...!!"

Riddhima : "Finally so that flirty Vansh came back."

Vansh : "Flirt... With you...!!" With a weird and teasing face he said

Riddhima : "Just shut up...and let's go."

They had cute chit chat whole their way to the temple.

They reached to the temple. Both made their way to entry gate.

Both were standing infront of Ganesha idol with folded hand. They gave offering to the priest.

Priest offered to Lord Ganesha and gave them back.

Ridhdhima prayed : "Thank you Bappa for everything. You have given me everything I wanted. Today also I want something from you Bappa, please make Vansh realise his feelings. He is unable to understand it or rather he is not accepting it. Please make him understand. And whatever he decision he will make please keep him happy in every circumstances beacuase I care for him so much and I can't see him sad."

Vansh prayed : "Today I only want Riddhima's happiness, please give her whatever she demades. Because it gives me pain when she upsets. And help me to understand this strange strand that has bound us together. For the first time in my life I am bettling with myself. Please help me in this."

Both bowed their heads and made their way to exit.

They sat near exit of the temple and was looking at each other. Riddhima asked

Riddhima : "What did you ask from bappa?"

Vansh : "Just same what you have asked for."

Riddhima : "Very cleaver attempt to close the topic."

Vansh smiled upon hearing this.

Riddhima offered him Modak.

Vansh : "Will I have the privilege to eat from your hands??" With a flirty smile

Riddhima blushed and fed him Modak with her hand.

Vansh : "It's delicious... Have you made it??"

Riddhima : "Yes but with mumma's instructions."

Vansh : "She instructed you very well."

Seeing her lost somewhere Vansh asked.

Vansh : "Now where have you lost??"

She was blabbering something about next week.

Vansh : "What... What were you blabbering about next week??"
