(Minnie pov) (week later)
I felt incredibly awkward when Angelina asked to do my hair up this morning, I liked her, I did... I just can't verbally tell people things. I'll write it in my diary later.
"Hey, mute," I glance at some of the other Gryffindor girls as they snicker at me while Angelina hums and brushes my hair.
"Don't listen to them," Angelina told me, "they're just being stupid gits."
I look in the mirror, my face was dark red from my anxiety lurking in the shadows, my knee was bouncing as my fingers drum against my non bouncing knee.
"You know you can talk to me any time you need someone, I know you don't like people... or think you can't have friends, but I'm here for you."
I pulled my wand out and used it to write in the air, I knew she had no idea what I would sign to her.
Thank you.
"Whoa, that's really cool," she said as the letters fade away. She saw my wand in my hand and gasped, "your wand is so beautiful." I think I was going to explode from the high tension of my nerves as my chest hurt from my heart racing.
'Gryffindors are supposed to be full of courage and bravery!' I squeezed my eyes shut for a moment.
"You okay?" I nod my head, "too much?"
'Just say something!'
I clear my throat and then shake my head at her, trying to get rid of my tears that were building up.
"Okay, well- whoa," she gasps as she looks at me, "you're so pretty."
'She's lying to make you smile.'
"I can't believe you've hidden that behind your hair for three years," she tuts, "you're so pretty."
'Liar, liar... LIAR!'
I fake my smile at Angelina before she checks the time while my hair was put into a nice low bun.
'Why did you even agree to this? She's just making fun of how you look.'
"We should go and get breakfast," Angelina told me as she fixes some strands, "now you look perfect."
'Perfect? You mean defect?'
We cleaned our belongings up before leaving for the great hall.

"Please sit with us," Angelina begs me as I remained my silent self, I just gave her a look in response as if to say 'over my dead body.'
"Please?" She begs me again, I'd rather sit as far away from everyone as I possibly could when Percy wasn't around to pressure me into eating my food.
I shake my head to Angelina, and then someone wrapped an arm around my shoulders.
"Morning Cousin!" I shut my eyes straight away, loud noises made my head hurt too easily.
"Percy isn't here yet so you can read," Lee told me while distracting me as they made me sit down and then squashed me in the middle of them.
"Here's your book," I realised where I was sitting and my whole body went rigid.
Anxiety was building up again, my body felt enclosed and on display, now I wanted Percy to come and save me.
