(Minnie pov) (17th of March)

I slid my coat on before snatching my wand off the dresser, I was on my way down the stairs until I stopped and heard Fred talking.

"Angelina, for the last time, I'm in love with her," Fred said.

"I wanted to make sure," Angelina said, "I know you've been together for a while, hell, basically over a year, but sometimes I feel like you're using her." I blinked in confusion.

"What the hell?" Fred snapped, "why would I use Minnie? Angelina- that's... that's disgusting! I'd never use her!"

"She's always with you, I've never seen you two apart, the only time was when you two had a fight." She hisses back, "I hope she knows she's not your lap dog!"

"We're always together because we want to be! If she wants alone time, then she has alone time; same goes for me and she understands and goes off to do whatever she does. I don't control Minnie, I never have." Fred argues, I could hear him choking up in shock, "she's not a lap dog! I've never thought of her as a- a lap dog!"

"And what does George think of you two always being together?" Angelina asked.

"Minnie-" I shushed George as he sat down beside me on the stairs. "Listen."

"He doesn't care that Minnie is always with me! They're best friends, he wanted us together before I knew that I liked her." Fred defends, George nodded his head.

"So he doesn't care when you leave him for Minnie?" Angelina asked.

"I've never been alone with Minnie, it's rare for us to be alone," Fred replies, "the last time it was just me and her was when we went out for a date at the last Hogsmeade trip."

George looked at me as I kept my eyes on the shadows.

"You're never been alone..." he whispered to me and I reluctantly shook my head.

"Never."

"Angelina, I'm not fighting with you, I don't want to fight with you, but I'm going to defend myself and my relationship; so, do you have a problem with me and Alice being together?" He asked her shortly. "Because even if you did, I wouldn't care."

"No!" She replies, "I'm looking out for her because she's my best friend!" Angelina told him.

"I know that." He replies, "but I'd never hurt her, not like that, I mean... I have once, but we fixed it because were able to."

I just smile slightly.

"Do you also know she's a Death Eater?" My heart stopped. "That she has the- the mark..."

"Yes," he sighs, "I do know about it, she's scared of it being on her body, she hates it, it was forced upon her unwillingly by her parents... Angelina, she isn't evil, I love my girlfriend more than I love myself."

"I'm just looking out for her," Angelina repeated, I was holding George's hand as I tried not to cry, "I know you love her, I just-"

"Wanted to protect her, I know, me too," he sighs, "I should go find her, you know? It's our anniversary today and I have plans to take her out after school."

"Well... then I wish you good luck, don't get her drunk, I need her for Quidditch practice, she's my seeker." Angelina points, Fred chuckles.

"OK."

"Go- go!" George and I scrambled up from our spots and raced to their dorm.

"Get in bed," he hissed and I gave George a weird look, "not with me, moron, Fred's bed."
