(Third person)

The double attack on Justin and Sir Nicolas turned what had previously been nervousness into real panic.

Curiously, it was Sir Nick's fate that seemed to worry people most. What could possibly do that to a ghost? people asked each other; what terrible power could harm someone who was already dead?

(Minnie pov)

Slipping my boots on, I was ready to leave the dorm for breakfast, Angelina was sliding a Christmas jumper on as her trunk was packed for the holidays.

"Hope you have fun," I told her and she looked over at me while fixing her jumper.

"I will," she told me, "what's that?" She asks me curiously, I glanced at the bottle before sighing.

"Medication," I told Angelina awkwardly, "they make me feel good."

"Oh?" She was curious.

"It's how I've been talking to people, they're prescribed for me and I have to take them twice a day, everyday." As I said that, I put one into my mouth and chased it down with some water.

"Well, as long as it works and you're happy, then that's all that matters to me," Angelina told me.

"Thanks," I reply before getting off my bed, "ready to go?"

"You bet ya!" I chuckled as we grabbed our scarves and left.

-

"See you soon, Angelina," I say to her as I hug her goodbye before letting her go as she got on to the train, Oliver was standing beside me and I look at him.

"You sure you don't want to come?" He asks me.

"I think I'm better off in the castle, but I'm not here the entire time, so I'll see you soon." I smile and he gasps.

"You're coming half way through?" I nod my head and he grins, "perfect, well, when you do leave come to my house for Christmas."

"Oh, totally, I'll make some treats." I told him with the raise of my eyebrows.

"See you soon, Minnie." He hugs me and then kisses my cheek, I smile as I let him go as he walked off and got on to the train.

"Bye," I waved as he disappeared and I sighed as I left to go back to the castle.

The Great Hall looked magnificent. Not only were there a dozen frost-covered Christmas trees and thick streamers of holly and mistletoe crisscrossing the ceiling, but enchanted snow was falling, warm and dry, from the ceiling.

Dumbledore led them in a few of his favorite carols, Hagrid booming more and more loudly with every goblet of eggnog he consumed.

Percy, who hadn't noticed that Fred had bewitched his prefect badge so that it now read "Pinhead," kept asking them all what they were sniggering at.

"What are you laughing at?" Percy whines for the tenth time and I glanced at his badge and my reluctant smile grew to an amused one.

"Oh, nothing Percy," I told him innocently. "They're just being odd." They stopped and glared at me.

"Odd?!" Fred shrieks.

"We're not odd!" George defended.

"Mhm, Pinheads," I grumbled and they scoffed at me as I sat in the middle of the twins while I ate my food.

-

While me, Fred and George, Percy, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Harry walked down the corridor together, people parted like the Red Sea when they saw Harry.
