(Minnie pov)
As I quietly walk across the courtyard during our first break today, I had an ominous feeling of someone watching me, it made my body tense.
As I turn around I jump in surprise to see Professor Snape approaching me.
"Good afternoon. Now, you need to come with me," Snape told me, I gulped before nodding as I follow him with my head slightly down.
"A...Am I in trouble?" I asked him weakly.
"No." He answers and I sigh in relief, "it's about the St Mungo's trip you took," my body tensed straight away.
"Wh-What about it?"
"They gave us your memory, Dumbledore's requested me to help you." He has a sneer in his tone as we walk.
"I-I'm sorry you have to," I wasn't afraid of Snape, sure he was mean and stuff, but I was more afraid of his reaction to seeing my memory than that greasy hair ball.
Snape suddenly stops and peers down at me, my eyes slightly widen as he stared down at me in shock. Did he not know what 'sorry' meant?
"Were you being smart with me?" He asks me with a reoccurring sneer. I shake my head gently and he tilted his head as his posture straightened.
"No sir," I answer and he put his hand on my back and motioned me to keep walking, so I did.
"We are going to my office, I need to see what I'm dealing with... before help can be used here. Miss Greenwood, what exactly... am I looking at?" He asks me curiously as we went downstairs.
I saw Fred and George with mischievous grins on their faces and my face ashens at them.
"Uh... a bad memory," I told Snape before my eyes slowly glide up the wall to see buckets floating; I shake my head at the boys as I slightly rush Snape into the potions room.
"Don't... touch... me," Snape said, I let his arm go as my head peers out of the door. I shake my head and subtly point down the hall, Filch was coming.
Fred and George look before giving me the thumbs up and I shake my head as I closed the door and followed Snape.
(Third person)
Snape had grown fond of this particular Gryffindor, Alice wasn't ever in trouble, she never argued with him or even said a word.
Even with her now saying bits and pieces of some words, Snape still thought of her as a good student, though he would rather die than say that.
It's why he decided to help her.
(Minnie pov)
I sat down in his office with my knees to my chest as he takes the white strings of the darkest memory I owned and glanced at me.
"You need to relax," he told me sternly, I gulp as I slowly sat in the chair properly and nod.
He tips the memory into something before he put his head into it, I watch in horror, why would he willingly watch something that bad? Maybe because he could handle it.
'He's going to look at you differently.'
I knew that, I just don't want Snape to pretend to pity me, same with Oliver... or McGonagall... or even Dumbledore himself.
Snape lifts his head and fixed his greasy hair before staring at me, I can't read his emotions that well.
Silence.
"Miss Greenwood..." he said, I think he was shocked, I don't know... I can't read his emotions.
'He's scared of you! He's terrified! Abort, run! Do something!' I was finally in control of my thoughts as I scrambled out of the chair and ran for it.
