(Minnie pov)

"And now can you please turn to page..." my head was pressed softly against my textbook as I shut my eyes for a moment.

"You okay there?" Fred said quietly, I softly smack him on his elbow as I turn my head and look at him.

I shake my head at him as he rose an eyebrow, why Fred was sitting beside me in class was a question unanswered.

"Gone back to mute?" I nod my head and he sighs, "okay, that's fine."

"Excuse me Professor Binns?" My head rose as I look behind me to see Dumbledore.

'Oh no.'

"Yes headmaster?" Professor Binns asks in confusion.

"I need Alice," he peers down at me over his half moon spectacles, I sat myself up and cleared my throat while I slid my belongings towards my chest and collected them.

"Good luck," I heard Lee whisper to me as I shove my books into my bag and then slipped my ink bottle and quill in their designated pockets.

"Thanks." I whispered back as I put the bag strap on over my shoulder and left with Professor Dumbledore.

-

"You will be collected by Professor McGonagall when you are finished for today," Dumbledore said to me as he softly pats my head.

I nod my head before looking at the hospital again, fear washed over me since I never went inside alone... today was different.

"There's no need to be frightened my dear," he said to me as I continue to stare, "it's merely another session."

"B-" a woman walks out in a green uniform and smiled at me, she must be one of the healers.

"Professor? We're ready for Alice now," Dumbledore nods to me and I shakily took the woman's hand.

"See you at dinner, I hope," Dumbledore said quietly to me before apparating away; tears built up in my eyes as she softly tugged me along and I reluctantly follow.

-

Tick... Tok... Tick... Tok~

The clocks minute and second hand moves as I continued to stare at it in pure silence.

"We need to discuss the sudden reason for your sudden muteness, Alice." She said, getting out of her chair, making me face her.

"I don't want to, not again," I said quietly, "the more you make me talk about it, the more it makes me feel sick."

"Well, you need to learn to control it," she said sternly. "I need to see the memory again." I violently shake my head.

'If you snap, you'll end up like him.'

"No!" I scream, "don't touch me with that thing, not again, please I can't do it."

"You know I have to do it! You need me to help you or you'll never get past it."

I covered my face with my hands under my glasses as I made myself calm down.

"I don't want to see it," I whispered, my body starts to tremble, "I can't."

"You can, just please trust me," she said, we've gone backwards before and it's not been too pretty either.

"Don't hurt me... please?" I pleaded to her as she knelt in front of me and smiled kindly.

"I promise this doesn't hurt," she said, she held her wand out and tapped my temple as she removed the memory.

My whimpers echo as she takes a vile and places the white strings of my memory and then pours it into the bowl.
