(Skip to the Ninteenth of May, 2003)
(Minnie pov)
This was it, the moment Fred and I waited for, anyway now I was going to give birth to the child we had created together.
It had been hard on me, losing my first child in the battle of Hogwarts, not that it was anyone's fault... but as time went on, we tried again and here I am, five years later.
We weren't living in the store anymore, but we still slept up there when visiting George and Angelina.
It was fun to have George at our house too, he would sleep over and then they'd talk business about new products, it was never dull. Not even the party the Weasley's threw when we announced that was pregnant... the twins can drink.
"Fred," I whined. He looked at me as I sat on the bed with a huff, I attempted to tie my shoelaces up, but my stomach wasn't helping.
"I can't tie my shoelaces," he chuckles, getting up before walking around the bed so he could tie them up for me.
"You're so beautiful," Fred said, then he kissed my swollen stomach, I smile as Fred placed his hand upon it, "I can't wait to meet you," he said to my stomach, "I'm so excited."
"They're ex—" I gasped as my hand touched my stomach, it was like someone had popped a water balloon from inside me.
"What?" Fred asked me worriedly, "Minnie? Princess?"
"I think..." I felt like I peed myself, and I just brought these jeans too! "My water broke." I finished finally, Fred didn't register for a moment before the light went off in his head.
"Oh!" He shouts, helping me stand, "how do we get you to Mungo's?" He asked frantically. "We can't apparate can we?" I went to say something but a contraction started.
"Ah, bloody hell." I cried.
"Let's— George!" Fred cries, "Water broke!" I heard rushed footsteps as Fred held me, George raced in and then stared in horror.
"What do we do?" He asked.
"Apparate!" I yelled, "get this kid out of me, let's go!" George nods and then he takes my hand as I gripped it from having another wave of pain. "It wants out and so do I!"
-
Crack!
We apparated into St Mungo's, people looked at us in confusion as the twins helped me walk.
"What's the—" the woman in lime green saw me.
"My water broke," I told her airily.
"We need to get you into a room immediately!" She called for a team and I was put on a stretcher.
—
It's been seventeen hours of me in agonising labour, Fred was sitting behind me, stroking my hair while George sat in the hospital chair and waited.
"For a kid who broke your water, they really don't wanna come out," George said, making me laugh, then cry.
"Come— ah!" I jolt forward, another stab of pain went through me, the doctor walked in and she smiles kindly as she checks me.
"Finally! Let's get this baby out of you, you're ready darling!" I fell back slightly into Fred as he looped his arms under mine as I nod my head.
"Breathe and you'll be okay," Fred reminds me, I nod as he kisses my cheek a few times.
"Now, on my count I want you to push as hard as you can," in nod my head and she smiles, "one, two, three and push!" I started pushing, I cried in pain as Fred held me while I push, "good, keep it coming momma." The woman said.
