(Few days later)

(Minnie pov)

"Three... two... one..." there he is.

"You're late," Oliver told me as I grabbed his arm and we kept walking towards the library.

"Wh—"

"Shush, Wood," I say as we ducked into the library and then I let him go, "where's Percy?"

"Common room," he replies to me, "what's wrong?"

"Higgs," I whispered, "I might've pulled my wand out at him and now he won't stop following me around with Marcus."

"What did that little-" I pulled him back into his seat by his tie.

"Easy Oliver," I coo, "he's being a prat."

"I'll belt him," he told me seriously.

"Not necessary," I lean forward and grabbed out the book I put a sticky note on last term, "hello there lovely."

"And you call me a fanatic for Quidditch." Oliver tutted and I roll my eyes as I opened the book and slid it over to him.

"No not a fanatic, a maniac, to quote you this year, 'get the snitch or die trying, Potter', hey." I say to Oliver and he deadpans at me.

"Okay, you got me," he rose his hands up in defence, out of the corner of my eye I saw Higgs and Marcus, they were scanning the aisles, and I think they were looking for me.

"Oliver?" I whisper harshly.

"Oh so now it's Oli—" I shushed him as I dragged his chair towards me and then went under the desk with my head slightly down and away from view.

"Are they gone?" I asked quietly.

"Who?" Oliver asks me as he peers down as I hid near his legs.

"Marcus and Higgs," I whispered to him.

"Yep," Oliver replied and I pulled my head up and then started climbed out from, "wait." He softly shoved me back down.

"I swear she came here," Higgs told Marcus and Oliver motioned me to come up, so I slid out from under the desk and sat myself down in my seat.

"Wanna talk about that?" Oliver questions with an eyebrow raise.

"Like I told you, I pulled my wand out at Higgs."

"Jackass." Oliver grumbles as I watched them leave the library.

"Anyway, you have studying to do, let's get you caught up and ready," I say and he groans as I open the book back up and tap it.

"The ingredients to..."

While I walked down the corridor alone at night while I was heading to the Gryffindor tower so I could read with Percy in the common room.

Splash!

I come to a sudden halt as I then look down and noticed the floor was covered in water where the message in blood was written on the wall.
