(Minnie pov) (Halloween night)
It was night time in the Great hall, decorated by spooky things to celebrate the holiday. Bewitched bats, floating carved pumpkins... there was so much stuff.
Everyone was eating candy, and JackO'Lanterns are keeping the place lit as they were floating in the air, replacing the legendary candles that always hovered above us.
Tonight I was sitting beside Harry, mostly because I was mad that I was pranked today by Fred and George, even if they did swear to me that it wasn't for me.
"I swear on our mums life that prank wasn't for you, Alice!" Fred cries to me while I chose to ignore him.
"We solemnly promise you," George adds. I stabbed my fork into my dinner as I found it difficult to continue to ignore them both.
"Leave the poor kid alone," someone whines at Fred and George, "she'll have a heart attack if you keep hounding her with apologies."
"We just want her to know we're sorry," Fred huffs. "But she's ignoring us."
"Because you're annoying the hell out of her," they replied and I look up and glare at Fred and George.
"We thought you were Lee coming up the staircase," George told me as I continue to glare.
"Honest mistake, you and him look very similar from above," Fred piped up.
"You're digging yourself an early grave if you don't shut up now," Ron told them, "I mean, look at her, she's gonna bloody stab the pair of you."
My hand relaxes on my forks handle as I then went back to eating.
"We're so-" I look back up and then fix my glasses with a small hiss in pain which they cringed guiltily at.
They bewitched the bottom step in the Gryffindor tower staircase into being a tricked one where people would fall through it. I so happen to be one of them.

"Where's Hermione?" Harry asks as she was missing from the table, I glance around the room and then shrug as I quietly continued to eat.
"Parvati Patil said that she wouldn't come out of the girl's bathroom. She said that she'd been in there all afternoon... crying." Neville responds and I rose an eyebrow before looking at him in concern.
Ron and Harry exchange glances. As Harry went to say something, Professor Quirrell comes flying into the room, screaming.
"TROLL! IN THE DUNGEON! T-TROOLLL IN THE DUNGEON!"
Professor Quirrell stops dramatically and there is utter silence sweeping over the hall.
"Thought you ought to know." He made a small disgruntled noise and then he falls over in a dead faint.
The room is silent, and then everyone freaks, screaming and running, I covered my ears from the sudden loud noises and I purse my lips as a hand grasped my shoulder.
"SILLLLLEEENNNNCEEEEE!" Dumbledore's voice booms as everyone stops moving and shouting, I slowly let my ears go and Oliver gave a sympathetic smile at me.
"Everyone will please, not panic." I just remained sitting down, I look around nervously from all the noise that once erupted through the hall.
"Now, Prefects will lead their houses back to the dormitories." Dumbledore instructs. "Teachers will follow me to the dungeons."
"Hufflepuff, this way!" The Hufflepuff prefect shouts as they got up.
"Stay together!" The Ravenclaw Prefect shouts while they all got up and moved, mixing in with the Hufflepuffs
