(Minnie pov) (goblet of fire)
(one month later)
"Bye, I'll be right behind you," I told Mr Weasley as he disappeared, being engulfed in emerald flames.
I wait for a moment or two, thinking about Harry's address and then I thought about meeting his Aunt and Uncle with a shudder.
"Four Pivot drive!" I shout and then I was too, engulfed into flames.
-
"Hello, Harry!" Mr. Weasley brightly said. "Got your trunk ready?" I cough as I walked out and then shook the powder out of my hair.
"There you are, thought you chickened out," George said, nudging me.
"Sorry I'm late," I say as I clean my glasses, "Hello Mr and Mrs Dursley, I'm Alice," I held my hand out and Mrs Dursley reluctantly shook my hand.
"P-Pleasure," she stammers. Her eyes scanned my attire throughly, but I couldn't help to see a glimmer of relief that I didn't dress oddly. I knew these people hated our kind.
"It's upstairs," Harry said, grinning back.
"We'll get it," Fred said at once. Winking at Harry, he and George left the room. They knew where Harry's bedroom was, having once rescued him from it in the dead of night.
"Well," Mr. Weasley said, swinging his arms slightly, while he tried to find words to break the very nasty silence. "Very... erm- very nice place you've got here."
Uncle Vernon's face purpled, and Aunt Petunia looked away.
Mr. Weasley was looking around their house in some type of awe. He loved everything to do with Muggles.
"They run off electricity, do they?" he said knowledgeably. "Ah yes, I can see the plugs. I collect plugs," he added to Uncle Vernon. "And batteries. Got a very large collection of batteries. My wife thinks I'm mad, but there you are."
He moved ever so slightly to the right, screening Aunt Petunia from view, as though he thought Mr. Weasley might suddenly run at them and attack.
"Excuse me, sir?" I ask Mr Dursley, he looked at me like I was going to kill him, "but, where is the bathroom?"
"Oh, it's upstairs," Harry said to me and I smile.
"Harry!" I gave him a hug and then ruffled his hair, "your hair is so long now, wow! Oh man, this sitting room is big, bigger than Oliver's." Harry laughs at my excitement before I let him go.
"Is it?" Harry asks.
"Oh, yeah, and it's so clean! I like this house, mess makes me uncomfortable," I ramble and I swear a glimmer of understanding was in Mrs Dursley's eyes.
"Upstairs to the right, by the way, Minnie," Harry told me and I nod as I left, bowing my head respectfully at the Dursley's.
-
"Oi!" I hissed at Fred and George, they looked at me and I grin.
"What?"
"Yeah?"
"Bathrooms here are weird," I told them and they snickered as I went into the bathroom and locked the door behind me.
-
Fred, George and I came back into the room, they were carrying Harry's school trunk. The twins glanced around as we entered and spotted Dudley. Their faces cracked into identical evil grins.
"Ah, right," Mr. Weasley said. "Better get cracking then." He pushed up the sleeves of his robes and took out his wand. The Dursley's draw back against the wall as one.
