(Third person) (24th of June)

The mood in the castle as they entered June became excited and tense again. Everyone was looking forward to the third task.

Breakfast was a very noisy affair at the Gryffindor table on the morning of the third task. The post owls appeared, giving parcels and letter to students including Minnie.

(Minnie pov)

"Hello Wulfric," I smile, untying the note from his leg, he hoots happily as he drank out of my goblet.

To Minnie the Great,

Hey! Long time no notes!
Wow, so you've been together for a while now, I hope he's treating you well. Over the holidays come to a practice? I kinda miss whooping your ass at quidditch.

From your brother from another mother, Oliver Wood.

Ps: the team said for me to say hello from them.

I laugh, handing my own letter back to Wulfric, I knew damn well he was going to say these things.

"Thank you," I smile as he hoots before flying away.

It felt weird sitting alone at the table, but I also felt nostalgic and happy. I opened my book, thinking about old times as I began to read.

As I talked to Ron about his exam while we walked to the Great Hall for lunch, I felt odd, Fred was avoiding me a lot more lately than usual, I know we broke up, but it still didn't feel right.

"Mum- Bill!" Ron said, looking stunned, as we joined the Gryffindor table. "What're you doing here?"

"Come to watch Harry in the last task!" Mrs. Weasley said brightly. "I must say, it makes a lovely change, not having to cook. How was your exam?"

"Oh... okay," Ron said. "Couldn't remember all the goblin rebels' names, so I invented a few. It's all right," he said, helping himself to a Cornish pasty, while Mrs. Weasley looked stern, "they're all called stuff like Bodrod the Bearded and Urg the Unclean; it wasn't hard."

"Oh!" Mrs Weasley said when she saw me, an excited expression on her face, "look at you! Come here, dear." She pulls me into a hug and I laughed as I hug her back.

"Hi, Mrs Weasley, it's nice to see you again," I told her as I kiss her cheek before we broke away from the hug.

"It's wonderful to see you too, dear." She smiled, "sit! Sit!" I nod my head before seeing Bill.

"Oh, god you're here," I grinned as we hugged.

"Ugh, Minnie," Bill jokes as we broke the hug and sat down, "good to see you."

"You too, Bill." I reply. Ron looks at me as I sat beside him. I felt incredibly awkward now.

Fred, George, and Ginny came to sit next to them too. Fred and I look at each other, smile very awkwardly and then went to our food, which I didn't go for as I curl up on the chair and opened my book.

Hermione turned up, halfway through lunch, Harry went to say something, but Hermione shook her head warningly and glanced at Mrs. Weasley.

"Hello, Hermione," Mrs. Weasley said, much more stiffly than usual.

"Hello," Hermione said, her smile faltering at the cold expression on Mrs. Weasley's face.

Harry looked between them, then said, "Mrs. Weasley, you didn't believe that rubbish Rita Skeeter wrote in Witch Weekly, did you? Because Hermione's not my girlfriend."
