(Minnie pov) (ten days later)
The goblet of fire didn't help anyone calm down after Harry was chosen at the fourth champion.
He seemed more and more stressed as he walked through the hallways to his classes, being praised and applauded for when he just wanted to get to class.
"I'm gonna go save Harry, Lee," I told him as I jogged off and swept Harry out of the circle of Gryffindors.
"Huh?" I pulled my hoodie off myself and then tugged it down over him, I pulled the hood over his head and we ducked into a vacant classroom.
I locked the door and pulled the blind down, "thank you, Alice, thank you so much." He hugs me and I sigh as I hug him back.
"It was annoying me," I told Harry when he let me go, "they're swarming you and it pained me how you just wanted to breathe without them all sucking up the air."
"Yeah, I know it's crazy!" We both laugh.
"I suppose Ron is still angry?" I ask.
"Yeah, I don't get it, I didn't—"
"Put your name in, I know, I believe you," I smile, "he's just jealous, but Ron will come around and see that you didn't do it."
"Thank you, Minnie," Harry said in relief before I pulled the Prophet out and he groans. I shook it out and cleared my throat.
"I suppose I get my strength from my parents. I know they'd be very proud of me if they could see me now..." I started giggling. "Yes, sometimes at night I still cry about them, I'm not ashamed to admit it... I know nothing will hurt me during the tournament, because they're watching over me..."
"I never said any of that..." I just giggled at Harry, he looked confused.
"I know you didn't," I say, "Rita Skeeter is backwards and writes anything she wants, whether you said it or not, she changes it."
"It was so frustrating." Harry complains.
"I know," I smile, "I've had to talk to her too." I rolled my eyes, "never listens, but the only thing I can appreciate is her quick quote quill."
"That thing is odd," Harry replies.
"I have one too, it helps me with my astronomy homework when I go outside and do it." I reply, "it might benefit you if you're interested... Harry."
"Thanks Minnie." Harry smiles and I grinned.
"Wanna dance around before class?" I ask, shaking my MP3 player in his sight, I toss the Prophet aside as I placed my MP3 player down on a desk.
"All right, but I'm a terrible dancer," he said playfully.
"Oh so am I, let's have some fun," I grinned as my MP3 played some music to get us pumped up.

(Third person)
On the Saturday before the first task, all students in the third year and above were permitted to visit the village of Hogsmeade.
Hermione told Harry that it would do him good to get away from the castle for a bit.
(Minnie pov)
"What about Ron, though?" he said. "Don't you want to go with him?"
"Oh... well..." Hermione went slightly pink. "I thought we might meet up with him in the Three Broomsticks..."
"No," Harry said flatly from beside me as I continued to read.
