(Minnie pov)

I lost Fred, I can't find him and I haven't been able to find literally any Weasley for two hours now.

"Hello, Alice," my head turned, there they stood, grinning at me.

"Mum," my eye twitched before I point my wand at her, she too raised her wand and my jaw clenched.

"Avada kedarva-"

"Expelliarmus!" Jets of red and green hit each other viciously, trying to dominate each other as the magic crackling from our wands fight.

"You are a fool!" My mother shouts at me, "coming to join a fight you won't win!"

"Oh yes I will!" I yell, flicking my wand at her, trying to zap her, it sparked all around her. When I found my chance, I dodged the jet of green light and ran.

"Coward!" My mum screeches, shooting green jets of light towards me, missing dangerously close to my feet. I hid around a pillar and then point my wand, whispering any disarming or harming spell I knew.

"Bombarda!" I wave my wand above her and a pillar exploded, crashing down around her as she screamed. "Bombarda maxima!" I point to the fallen rubble and it exploded.

Then I started running again, not caring if I hurt her or not, shooting spells to any Death Eaters I could see or ran past.

"Where is he?" I whispered, where was Fred? Where was George? Where was Ron? Harry? Hermione? Mr Weasley? Bill?

Then the air exploded.

In that split second of a moment, when all things seemed at bay when I was running, the world was rent apart; I felt myself flying through the air, and all I could do was hold as tightly as possible to that thin stick of wood that was my one and only weapon, and shield my head in one arm while the other protected my stomach.

CRASH!

(Fred pov)

Jets of light flew in every direction and the man dueling Percy backed off, fast: Then his hood slipped and we saw a high forehead and streaked hair.

"Hello, Minister!" Percy bellowed, sending a neat jinx straight at Thicknesse, who dropped his wand and clawed at the front of his robes, apparently in awful discomfort. "Did I mention I'm resigning?"

"You're joking, Perce!" I shouted as the Death Eater I was battling collapsed under the weight of three separate Stunning Spells. Thicknesse had fallen to the ground with tiny spikes erupting all over him; he seemed to be turning into some form of sea urchin. I looked at Percy with glee.

"You actually are joking, Perce... I don't think I've heard you joke since you were—"

Something in the air exploded. We had been grouped together, Harry, Ron, Hermione, me, and Percy, the two Death Eaters at their feet, one Stunned, the other Transfigured.

I felt myself flying through the air, rubble and other heavy bricks from The castle wall fell down towards me, I didn't know what to do, my body was still in fear—

CRASH!

(Third person)

The battle of Hogwarts was still in action as curses, hexes and charms were casted.

Then came Voldemort's voice, echoing once more through the ears of innocent and guilty witches and Wizards.

"You have fought," said the high, cold voice, "valiantly. Lord Voldemort knows how to value bravery."
