(Minnie pov)
"Avada Kedavra's a curse that needs a powerful bit of magic behind it- you could all get your wands out now and point them at me and say the words, and I doubt I'd get so much as a nosebleed. But that doesn't matter. I'm not here to teach you how to do it." Moody growls at us.
"Now, if there's no countercurse, why am I showing you? Because you've got to know. You've got to appreciate what the worst is. You don't want to find yourself in a situation where you're facing it. CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" he roared, and the whole class jumped again.
"Now... those three curses- the killing curse, Imperius, and Cruciatus—" the word Cruciatus made my body tense up, old memories flooded my mind for a moment.
"—Are known as the Unforgivable Curses. The use of any one of them on a fellow human being is enough to earn a life sentence in Azkaban. That's what you're up against. That's what I've got to teach you to fight. You need preparing. You need arming. But most of all, you need to practice constant, never-ceasing vigilance. Get out your quills... copy this down..."
-
The class spent the rest of the lesson taking notes on each of the Unforgivable Curses.
No one spoke until the bell rang- but when Moody had dismissed us and we had left the classroom, a torrent of talk burst forth.
Most people were discussing the curses in awed voices.
"Did you see it twitch?"
"-and when he killed it- just like that!"
They were talking about the lesson, I thought, as though it had been some sort of spectacular show, but I hadn't found it very entertaining.
"Hey," I glanced at Fred before looking away, "you seem bored."
"I am." I mumble, "I just want to go to the library." The twins look at me oddly as I weave through the crowd going down the stairs, disappearing from their sight.

(Lee pov)
"Lee, there's something wrong with your cousin," George said, looking around. "She's been angry since last night."
"She's just under a lot of pressure," I said, waving it off. "Stress messes with her head a lot."
"What does she have to be stressed about?" Fred said, shaking his head. "She's already a month ahead in every class."
"She's been talking to Viktor Krum lately," Harry told us, while walking past.
"Has she now?" Fred asked.
"He's been taking a liking to our Minnie," Ron said, smiling, "they look like old friends."
I grinned as I saw Viktor stop Alice and they started talking before they leave in seperate ways.
"Good, I think it's great she's doing well, making new friends." I told them.
"Yeah." George beams, "she's extending her social group, go Minnie." Fred was suddenly very quiet. I glance at him as he was slightly scowling to himself.
"Anyway, I don't think she fancies him," I mention, "she's not the one to like people like him." Fred looked up with a blank expression on his face.
"Yeah, rather a fun bloke than a guy like Krum." George elbows Fred and he rolled his eyes.
"Who cares who Minnie likes? As long as she's happy and they make her feel good about herself and the relationship." Fred told us.
"Oliver cares," we all reply.
