(Minnie pov)

We all sat in the Great Hall for the sorting ceremony as well as being here for the welcome back feast for another year at Hogwarts.

The more my eyes scanned the table, the more I realised that Ron and Harry weren't sitting with Hermione or anyone they were either friends or family with.

My heart started to race and I think Fred picked up on my fear as he slightly bent himself down to my ear.

"What's wrong?" He whispers to me, "you're gripping my robe sleeve," I blink myself out of my panicked state as I look down to see that I have a bunch of his robe sleeve in my grasp.

I touch his hair in response, words were failing me, then I tap my glasses and my forehead.

"Ron and Harry?" He whispers, I nod my head, I move his chin and he looks around, now he's noticed that they aren't here.

"What's wrong?" George whispers to me, I look at Fred and he leans towards his brother and murmured a few things.

I continued to anxiously look around.

"Oh, Merlin's beard..." George mumbled, they were no where to be seen. "Mum'll kill us for not making sure Ron and Harry got off the bloody train..."

Then, suddenly... rumors started sweeping through the Gryffindor table about a flying car being seen by muggles, Fred, George and I exchange a look of fear.

"No, it couldn't have been possible...!" George whisper-shouts before we look at other again.

"No way did they do that... without us," Fred adds and then they both grinned.

"Go Ron," George and Fred high-five each other proudly while Percy, who was sitting next to Oliver opposite me was scowling at the news about his brother flying an enchanted car.

"I heard they got expelled!" Someone says.

"D...Don't worry Percy, I'm sure... I'm sure they didn't get expelled," I tried to assure him, but Percy continued to scowl down at himself mostly, he was ashamed of his brother being reckless like Fred and George were.

"It doesn't matter, have something to eat," Percy sighs and I reached out and shakily take a drumstick and place it on my dinner plate.

Then I take the bowl of mashed potato and scoop a small amount on to my plate.

Fred softly takes the bowl from me and then worriedly peers down at my trembling hands.

"You all right, Minnie?" Fred asks me quietly, I nod my head as I then fix my glasses and softly scratch the side of my nose.

Percy's eyes were cutting through me the longer I took not eating my food, it made me uneasy, but I began to eat and he lightened up the tiniest bit, his mood was dampened still by Ron's reckless act.

"It's the first week of this month, does that mean you're going to St. Mungo's?" George asks me curiously, I turn my head to face George who was sitting besides Fred.

I nod my head at him, "Well, I wish you good luck and I hope it goes well." George told me, which was odd on his part, George has never wished me luck or that he hoped it'd go well. My eyebrows crease at him.

"Minnie?" Fred waved his hand in front of my face, "Hello? Earth to Minnie?" I blink before tilting my head at George who was equally as confused as I was as we just stare at each other in silence.

"Did you just wish me good luck?" I asked him confusingly. George's eyes blink in shock as it was now his turn to tilt his head at me.

"Yes...?" He answers me, "why?"
