(Fred pov) (Christmas day!)
After talking to mum with George from Percy sending his jumper back, I glanced at George and guiltily smile.
"What a git," I say as we went up the stairs together.
"Stupid Percy," George grumbles, then smacked my shoulder, "go wake your girlfriend up." George reminds me.
"I will in a moment, she didn't sleep last night," I reply.
"Why— wait do I want to know?" George scrunched his face up.
"We haven't done it in a while, George," I reply, "anyway, no she— shut up, Minnie's been hurting a lot more lately, The mark keeps burning."
"It must be horrible," George mumbled, looking at the closed door, "you know, having something that's a constant reminder of how messed up your family is."
"She locks herself away now," I sigh, "if she cries, she hides in her wardrobe."
"She doesn't like you seeing her cry, mate," George replies, "it's nothing personal."
"I know, but I just want her to know that she can cry in front of me, I'm not going to tell her to stop..."
"Minnie cries a lot."
"Bad things follow her like a shadow, I'd cry too if something bad constantly happened to me," I say. "But I'd be a wreck if the worst thing happened to me."
"What would you cry about?" George asked curiously.
"If you or her died," I reply quietly, face going pale at the thought, "or any of my friends and family obviously, but it's you two I can't live without."
"All right..." George cleared his throat.
"What about you?" I ask.
"Same thing honestly," he replies quietly, "I dunno what I'd do without the pair of you... or any of our friends and family members."
"But, then again," I say, "nothings going to happen to any of us, so it doesn't matter."
"Right you are, Gred," George grins.
"Thank you, Feorge," we grinned at each other and he clapped me on the shoulder.
"I'm going to the bathroom, go wake her up," I nod as he shoves my shoulder slightly as we parted ways.
I opened Minnie's door and then closed it behind myself, I made my way to her as she slept soundly. Then I noticed a pillow in her arms.
"Oh how cute," I crawled on to the bed and touched her arm, she shifts and then sighs.
"Hey, Minnie," I shake her softly, she didn't budge, "Minnie~" I sang softly. Nothing, an idea popped into my head as I leaned down and kissed her cheek. Nothing again.
I started peppering her cheek and then travelled around her face giving Minnie kisses. Her head turns and I kept kissing her.
"I'm awake," she groans before I kissed her lips, "Mmm, good morning." She said as we kiss again, but even slower.
"Morning," we break away and smile at each other, "happy one year of me asking you to go out with me."
"Merry Christmas." She replies before I scoffed, she then giggled before sitting up slightly. "I'm kidding, happy anniversary, even though the real one is in March."
"Merry Christmas, there's some presents in here," I told her.
"Are you one of them?" She replies.
"I am now," I reply.
