It was early hours in the Wood household, his parents were up and were going to work which meant that Oliver and I were alone to wait for the quidditch team to arrive.

"Mrs Wood?" I sheepishly call, Oliver was still asleep on the pull out couch. She turns to me and smiles.

"Yes dear?" She asks me quietly.

"May I cook breakfast?" I ask her, "with your permission, of course, as well as snacks for the team and yourselves?"

"Of course, you can! The cake was very delicious, by the way," she said to me and I beamed at her, "we have to go, but we will be back later."

"Have a good day at work," I say and they smile before going through the Floo powder network.

"Time to start baking..." I say as I clapped my hands together softly so I wouldn't wake Oliver up.

As I stirred in my sleep, the smell of food caught my nose as I groan while I slowly sit up in bed. It smelt like heaven, I must be dreaming then... or not.

A small hum comes from the kitchen while the clatter of plates and utensils echo, they were trying to be as quiet as they could, which meant it was Alice in the kitchen.

I got myself out of bed and I fixed my shirt as I yawned and walked towards the kitchen.

There she was, humming as she cooks with the radio faintly playing. I lean against the wall as I watched her, this is the calmest I've ever seen Alice before.

'Now, the formalities of this and that
Is that Kris Kross ain't comin' off wack
And for all y'all suckas that don't know
Check it out
Some of them try to rhyme but they can't rhyme like this~'

I watch intently as Alice slightly danced to the song, she was smiling as she softly giggled along. I tilt my head and grinned, this was the most wholesome thing I've ever seen.

'Jump jump
The Mac Dad'll make ya Jump jump
The Daddy Mac'll make ya Jump jump
Kris Kross'll make ya Jump jump
Uh huh, uh huh
Jump jump~"

She sang along as she danced, I was surprised how she one: hasn't seen me yet and two: how well she could sing as well as dance.

"Morning," I finally say with the clearing of my throat; she stopped dancing and looked at me, cheeks starting to glow red.

"You'd think I'd be embarrassed... but I'm maxed out," she points to herself as her face turned into a deep scarlet.

"Whatcha making?" I ask her as I nudge my head to the pan, she looks and then sighs.

"I'm making breakfast," she flipped the bacon and then she nods to herself, I wander over and look at the food she was making.

"Need any help?" I ask her.

"Oh, sure," Alice replies as she points to the other pan, "the team should be here soon so I'll make the bacon and eggs while you make the pancakes."

"Yes ma'am," I grin and she rolled her eyes with a smile. "You look nice." I told her as I grabbed the whisk and did a quick stir of the batter in the metal bowl.

"Oh, thanks," I hear Alice reply.

"When did you get that dress?" I questioned her, "you never wear dresses."

"I thought I'd go out of my comfort zone," Alice answers, "maybe I'll even try it out today." I was shocked, where did this come from?

"You sure?" I ask Alice, "take baby steps, don't over do it."
