(Minnie pov)

I sat in front of the mirror in Ron's room for a long period of time, staring at myself, half my makeup for my Christmas spirit was there... except for my festive eyeshadow.

"I can't do it," I whispered to myself, which was true, no matter how much I tried to attempt my eyeshadow or my nail polish... my hand wouldn't cooperate.

I almost bursted into tears, this is what Umbridge did to me... my back was constantly numb now too, all because of Filch.

"Hey," I heard from the door, I glanced at the door from the mirror to see Fred sporting a new sweater from Molly.

"Hello there," I say and then frowned at the mirror again.

"What's wrong gorgeous?" Fred walked up to me, then sat on the ground beside me, "I haven't seen you all morning, you have presents downstairs."

"I can't do it," I muttered, pointing to my makeup pouch, "I— one of the only things I do every year for Christmas is to do my nails and my makeup... and I can't even do it," Fred held my hand up as it trembled, when did it not?

"Well..." He said awkwardly, "I can try, if you tell me what to do?" I look at him in shock, "what's that look for?" he said.

"You... Fred, what if one of your brothers walk in to see you doing my makeup for me? They'll take the mickey out of you!" Fred tutted before taking my glasses off for me.

"Nonsense," Fred pecked my lips before leaning back, "now, how do I do this?"

"Oh no." I moaned, "Now I don't know how to help, you've blinded me." Fred chuckles.

"Your contact lenses are in the makeup pouch, you asked me to remind you that they're in there," Fred replies.

"Oh good," I say, then reached for the pouch, "erm, where is it?" Fred placed it in my hand and I nod my head, "Ta, love." I rummaged through it before pulling my small container out with my eye drops.

"I've always been curious to see how you do this," I tilt my head back as I dropped the eye drops into my eyes and blink.

"It's disgusting," I reply as I sniffle and then groan, "I hate this part," I take the left contact out of the container as I open my eye with my fingers and put it on; it sticks to my eye and I let my eyelid go.

"Ew," Fred moans in disgust, "do it again." I scoffed at Fred as I did the right side.

"Now I can see you poke my eye out," I said as he smiles at me fondly, "what are you staring at?"

"How beautiful you look today," Fred said with a dreamy sigh, I felt my cheeks heat up at him, "and how well you've put your hair up into a bun with that little Christmas clip in your hair to keep it together."

"Fred?" I say as he smiles, "Are you all right?" I ask him seriously.

"I'm just in love with the view I have of you," he replies, then he put my glasses on and I giggled at him.

"You look cute with glasses on," I said, using my right hand to fix his hair.

"Thank you, but they suit you better," he puts them on top of his head and looked at me. "tell me how to do this?" I nod as I turn my body to face him.

"All right, first things first you need that brush," I told him.

He picks it up and nods, I opened the eyeshadow and tap the three colours I was going to use.

"You're going to use the dark green colour first and just softly brush it around here," I point and he nods as I closed my eyes and felt him lightly brush where I pointed.
