(Minnie pov) (a week later)

When I woke up, I felt different, like I was standing on top of a cliff of some sort or a hill; nevertheless the wind was blowing my curly hair back as hard as it wanted to and it made me feel great.

"WOO!" I shout and it echoes, I started laughing as I ran around on the greenest ground of grass I've ever laid my eyes on.

I touch my face and realised I didn't have glasses anymore. My body did a full motioned turn as I look around, why was I alone? Not that I really minded.

Wait, I could see without my glasses!

"Alice?" I hear from a distance. "Alice?!"

"Mum?!" Without thinking, I ran.

When I got down the hill, I saw a woman in white, she looked beautiful.

"Alice," she held her arms out and I ran towards her and hugged the woman tightly, but she exploded into white doves and butterflies.

"No..." I whispered while cupping my hand as a butterfly handed into them. "Please, why can't I see her?"

"Alice?" The voice echos, "Alice Jordan?"

"It's time to wake up, Alice."

My eyes felt heavy, so did my head, I had no idea where I was or what was going on.

"You're going to be okay, Alice," a woman's voice echos through my mind, "stay strong."

"Where..." I shut my eyelids for a moment before prying them open again, "where 'm I?"

"Oh thank goodness," I hear as I scrunch my face slightly, groaning from the pain in my stomach.

"Who... are you?" I felt something being put on my face and my vision clears.

It was Professor McGonagall.

"Hello there, Miss Jordan," she said and I clamp my mouth shut straight away. "What happened?"

I stayed silent for a few minutes before answering, "I don't know, I don't remember..." Professor McGonagall frowns at my answer, "but I do remember the feeling of their presence, which is weird..."

"Can you tell me?"

"Cold." I said straight away, "so cold." I whispered, "like they'd been sat on top of the coldest mountain."

"Did you see their face?" I shake my head.

"I threw my glasses at the wall beforehand..." I mumbled, "I got a letter from someone... they told me they were going to be waiting for me when school ends."

"Who?"

"No idea, but they said a cat was going to be waiting for me... er, a white tabby cat." Professor McGonagall looked concerned.

"What else did this letter say?" She queries.

"They hoped that they were writing to me and they said they were home because my dad wasn't there anymore." I told her.
