Chapter 18: Nervous?

"How do I look?" I asked him, I looked at him, he didn't even say a word he just stared at me, I walked at him

"Hey are you okay?" I asked, He just nodded, "I'm just flabbergasted with your beauty perhaps" He looked at me and smiled

I rolled my eyes, and walked on my vanity table to see my hair if it's fine, i grabbed a strand and just fixed it and placed it so somewhere it would look good on.

"It's time, shall we go now?"

I grabbed the bag, and walked near to him, "let's go!" I smiled.

As we we're in the car, I felt very nervous, who wouldn't anyway? You're meeting your boyfriend's mother, not just an ordinary mom a millionaire mom!

He placed his hand on my lap

"I can sense that you are getting nervous, please don't be" he tried to calm me but it never really worked.

For the whole hour of us driving our way, We finally made it, and I'm still nervous, but now 10x.

Daisuke opened the door for me, I saw a old woman, waiting in the main door of their mansion, we starting walking our way to the front door, I tried not to make my legs shake obvious

Daisuke grabbed on my waist, and whispered

"Calm down, I can assure you that no matter what happens I'll be here"

That somehow calmed me, I looked at him and smiled, We reached the front door, Daisuke got off my waist and kissed his mom on her cheek, Mrs. Kambe looked at me, and smiled

"Ah this must be her" She said

"Mom, this is Y/N, my girlfriend."

I bowed, and greeted "Good afternoon, I'm Y/N very pleased to meet you"

"Ah, so am I, now let's go inside, for you guys to not get sick" She said, and opened the door for us, I went in and did not sat on the couch yet, I was told to wait for the owner to offer a seat before seating.

"Y/N, sit here please" Daisuke said, I nodded and sat next to him, while his mother, Mrs. Sayuri, Sat in front of us

I looked around their house or should I say mansion oh no, it's like a palace here, huge fancy chandeliers, large staircase, and every elegant things that looked very expensive.

Two maids, served us tea "how have you guys been doing?" Mrs. Sayuri asked

"We are doing well mom, doing everything we enjoy" Daisuke answered his mom, I smiled at the answer he gave.

"How lovely, I apologize for my husband's absence Y/N I hope you understand" She smiled

I shook my head in disagreement, "No no, it's okay Mrs. Sayuri, We all do know Mr. Kambe is a busy man" She laughed, even her laugh sounds so elegant, and yes I'm halfway fangirling about her.

Her posture, the way she dress, and her movements are too elegant, no wonder Daisuke is like that as well.

I grabbed the tea, that was served for me, and drank it, in the most elegant way I was taught.

"So Y/N, what do you do like hobbies or job?" She asked me, and sipped up the tea she's holding.

"Ah, I am working as a lawyer now, I persuaded law school, and I graduated, I work as a lawyer in our family business, as for hobbies, I can play the piano well, and do arts." 

"Ah I see you have a hands for craft, very well that's great, I hope I can someday hire you as my defending lawyer then" She said, I almost collapsed Mrs. Suyari Kambe, wants to hire me as her lawyer in the future

I'd cry a river, if that happens. 

"I'd be delighted for that" I said.

We continued to chat for hours and hours, until It was time to go home

"I had fun with you Y/N visit often please, And I'm deeply sorry for my husband's absence once again" She smiled at me

"I had fun too, Thank you for the hospitality, I hope we can spend more time with each other Mrs. Sayuri" I said and bowed one more time

I was surprised, that Mrs. Sayuri hugged me and whispered "Take care of Daisuke, come back here when suzie is here, she's busy chasing her love" she laughed and now hugged his son daisuke.

"Did you have fun?" Daisuke asked me while we were driving our way to my house, "I did" smiled and said " so much fun it's a pity your dad was not around and your sister, suzue"

"Suzue does not come by that much, she's being independent, and chasing someone, she's working and living alone" He answered

After a long drive, We have reached our destination, "Would you like to stay for a little while?"

"As much as I want to, I'd reject for today, You need to rest" He reached me, and kissed my cheek "Now go, and rest already don't text, just go to bed no need to update me" He said, I nodded and got out of his car, and waved goodbye to him. 

I did not left my position until his car was out of my sight, I started to walk on the front door.

Today was a marvelous day indeed, tiring but fun, Nervous at first, but not anymore.

Mrs. Sayuri is like my mom, whose in heaven, I looked up in the sky, are you happy mom?

I found someone Whose in love with me.
