"So you want me to help you help Roman to get my brother back?" Remy clarified. Aaron nodded, now feeling very close to scared. Despite his mostly chill persona, Remy was a Summers and they were absolutely terrifying.
"Remind me again why I should do this? Roman's a bitch, he doesn't get a second chance."
"Because Roman makes Virgil happy." Aaron tried and Remy raised an eyebrow. "And Roman's really torn up over what he did."
"So? He should be for hurting Virgil." Remy sighed and checked his phone. "Look, I get off the clock at 6. We can talk more for about... 10 minutes but then I need to be home. Got it?"
Aaron nodded, glad to get away from Remy, even if it was for a little while. "10 minutes will do just fine." He said hurriedly before speeding out of the cafe.
Remy sighed, slipping his sunglasses on and glaring at the younger boy. "10 minutes and then I'm gone, remember?" Aaron nodded and took a deep breath.
"So, Roman was really upset about what happened with Virgil and my sister, who's friends with Virgil, said that he was too. Then, Roman told me all about the whole bet thing and I said that I would help him get Virgil back. I roped my sister into it and we came up with this idea to lock Roman and Virgil in a room together until they sorted their problems out but we can't do that without having the key to a place both of them like so we thought 'let's get Virgil's brother to help' and that brings us up to now." Aaron said, stopping and gasping for air.
"Babes, I said ten minutes not ten seconds." Remy said, slightly alarmed. Aaron took another breath and looked at Remy.
"Please can you help me and Lu fix this?" He pleaded. "Roman really misses Virgil and I'm guessing Virgil feels the same thing about Roman."
"I don't care how-" Remy stopped, his harsh tone making Aaron flinch slightly, and sighed. "Look, I get that you want to help your friend but Virgil doesn't want this. He just wants to move on."
"That, I think, is where you are wrong." Aaron growled. "I know that Virgil is your family and that means you probably know him more than anyone else but that doesn't change the fact that I can see he misses Roman."
"Really?" Remy asked, crossing his arms and leaning against a wall. "Tell me, how can you 'see' something to do with my brother?"
"It's the way he looks at Roman. He's just got this... look in his eyes that betrays whatever he's showing on his face. He misses Roman, Remy, and I think you know that. You just don't want him to be hurt again. But Roman doesn't want to hurt Virgil again, I promise."
Remy surveyed Aaron for a long time and Aaron thought he'd over-stepped something before Remy sighed. "Fine. Fine! I'll help you. But only if this makes Virge okay again, got it?"
Aaron nodded, a grateful smile spreading across his face. "I promise you it will. Roman really makes Virgil happy."
Remy nodded his head to the side slightly and sighed. "Why're you helping? And don't come up with some 'friend' bullshit, any friend would be sceptical to help if they found out their mate had hurt someone else on purpose. So what's the reason?"
Aaron shrugged and looked down, shuffling his feet. "Because Roman makes me happy too."
