Traitorous Love

Chapter 1- The Invitation

Your POV

You were in your dorm room on the UA campus. It's been a few days since the sports festivals, and the teachers decided to give the students a few days off to recover, and to heal from the injuries.  Today is the first day back to classes (This chapter is similar to the anime)

You walk into class, your arm in a sling, still in pain from your fight against Bakugou. The two of you were on par with your power, but he still managed to beat you (by dislocating your shoulder which you then relocated then and there), not before getting severely hurt in the process. You take your normal seat next to Kirishima. 

"(y/n)! how are you feeling? You didn't leave your dorm room for like 2 days" He asked with concern. 

You wave your hand, waving off his concerns, "I've been resting up since my shoulder was dislocated!"  you say that a little louder hoping Bakugou heard you. 

Kirishima laughs, "Honestly, I don't even know how you relocated it?! It was so cool and gross!" you give him a dirty look, "But cool," he reassures you, "Anyway, how did you even relocate it?" he asks. You look down sadly, "A lot of practice," you say. 

You and Kirishima continue talking when Mr. Aizawa walks in for class, "OK people, here is what's happening today," he starts and the room goes dead silent, then he continues, "Ok, so here are the people who got offers for internships from pro-heroes," and motioned to the board. Surprisingly, your name was... third with 15 offers? The class erupts in chaos, she looked back up at the top of the list, "Bakugou was second while Todoroki got first, but that was the opposite of their ranks at the games!?" Kirishima pointed out. 

Everyone's eyes went to Bakugou who just scoffed and looked away, "Everyone, settle down," Mr. Aizawa said harshly and the class quieted down, "Everyone will get an internship, the ones who are on the board can choose from their offers, and everyone else will get a list of agency's that take internships, but do remember that you may get rejected from the agency's so you're just going to have to try for another," He looked at the class, eyes droopy, he looked so dead inside, " ok, make sure to have your offers in by the end of the week, class dismissed," 

You gather your things and head to the cafeteria, where you sit down next to Kirishima, Bakugou, and a few others in your class. You all talk about the different offers you got, "Who did you get y/n? I saw your name on the board," Kirishima asked. 

"uhh," you look at your paper skimming the names for the first time, "Rumi Ugsagiyama, Sekijiro Kan, and..." you continue skimming the page, looking for anyone that's really popular and then you see it, " and HAWKS!?" you scream. 

Everyone looks at you with wide eyes, "You got an offer from the number two hero?! That's so awesome!" Kirishima says. Everyone got congratulations from everyone at the table, except Bakugou, who is now sulking, "Aww, it's ok Bakugou, don't be sad," he turns to look at you dead in the eye, "Not everyone can get the attention of the number two hero," 

"Shut up (y/n)," Bakugou's face gets red

But you don't shut up, "I mean, I guess I should thank you then for dislocating my shoulder, I must have looked so cool relocating it back," you smile smugly. 

"Ah, lay-off him (y/n)" Kirishima says, "He got more offers than you, even from..." his voice trails off, "Wait, who did you get offers from?" He asked Bakugou slowly and carefully. 

"Why does it matter to you extras? I'm still gonna be the number one hero, and all you losers are going to be my stepping stones, to my victory" he says getting up angrily and walking away. The rest of you at the table continue to talk about offers, but you have already made up your mind- Your interning with Hawks. 

Ok, so I know this first chapter is kinda slow, and I'm sorry, I'm testing the waters, I promise I'm going to make it go a little faster!
