It's been a week since you put in that you going to be taking your internship with Hawks, but since turning it in, you're wondering if it's a bad idea. You wonder what could Hawks really teach you? Either way, it's too late to change it now and you pray you didn't fuck everything up

After a long day of classes, you finally get to the final bell of the week, "Ok, class dismissed, remember next week is your internships so get ready and pack for those!" all of your classmates file out of your classes back to your dorm rooms.  You go to the nurse to make sure your arm is ok and get the sling off.

Getting back to your room you take out a duffle bag an put in your hero costume, 7 days worth of clothes, bathroom necessities, etc. Your stomach is churning at the idea of seeing Hawks, not because you're scared of him, or maybe it's cause you are?

"Y/n?" you hear someone knock on the door

"It's open! come in!" you yell back. The door opens, and footsteps walk-in, you turn around to meet the spiky hair and red eyes of Bakugou.

"Oh, hey, what's up?" you asked nonchalantly, continuing to fold your clothes, and put them into your duffle bag.

"Um..." Bakugou starts, "are you packing for your internship?" he asks stuffing his hands in his pockets.

You nod, "Yeah, what's up?" wanting him to get straight to the point.

"Uh, w-well," he stammers a little, and then clears his throat, "I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry," he says, "I'm sorry for dislocating your shoulder it wasn't cool, and the reason I did it was that I didn't know what else to do to win," You turn around to see his red face this time blushing with embarrassment.

You smile, "Bakugou, you're good, I was just teasing, I know what this means for you," you say going back to folding, "honestly, if I was you I probably would have done the same thing," you pause and think a little, "well maybe not the same thing but something similar," you say reassuring him. "Bottom line, it's ok all is forgiven," you turn around and give him a smile, "And besides, my shoulders good now so don't worry about it,"

"Yeah... But I still feel bad," he says shaking his head,

"That's called guilt," you giggle, "but really it's ok, all is forgiven," You sigh, "Now, I need to pack because I need to be at the hotel tonight for my internship, so..." your voice trails off, hoping he got the signal for him to leave.

"Yeah, I'll let you get back to packing, sorry again," he said, and then left your room. You couldn't help but think that this was a new side of Bakugou you never saw. A Bakugou that felt guilt and it was a nice side to him, he should let it out more often you think and go back to packing.

(Time skip- that night in your Hotel room)I'm going to do this bc I'm lazy AF haha

You just settled into your room for the next week. You called your mom letting her know about the internship, and she is super happy for you. The two of you talked about other things, and about your dad before you decide to get ready for bed.

Taking a nice warm shower, you get into some comfy shorts and an over-sized t-shirt and then walked outside to the balcony to take in the beautiful view of the stars and the city lights. The stars shone brightly against the dark sky, the red and white of the cars driving by, put you at ease a little. Turning around you go back inside, forgetting to lock the balcony door. You get back into bed and open your book when you feel the vibrations in the area around you change- someone was there. Searching the room you see a figure on the balcony. It was a tall man, with a nice built, but that's all you could see through the shadow. Quickly getting up you put your hands in a defensive stance, ready to throw some vibrational energy if needed.

Slowly the handle begins to turn, and you shove, energy at the door, hoping that the force was strong enough to keep whoever it was out. Seeing that the person was struggling to open the door, you immediately stop the vibrations and see the person fall to the floor...

"Who- Mr. Hawks?" you look at the man, gold locks of hair, a light stubble, but most noticeable were his beautiful crimson wings.

"Hey, kid, sorry I didn't mean to scare you," he said cooly, as he got up from the floor dusting himself off, "That's a nice quirk you got there,"

You stand there shocked, but more pissed, "Why are you trying to break into my hotel room?" you asked. Hawks eyes you up and down stopping at your chest. Realizing this you cross your hands over your chest; you weren't wearing a bra.

"Well, I wanted to meet my new intern, get to know them, see what they're like blah blah blah," he shrugged and sat down in a chair near the balcony door, "besides, pretending to break-in is a  good way to see how strong you are," he looked at you up and down while you looked at him.

Sitting up like this you could see his defined abs through his shirt, his defined arms, and omg, the veins, "So, whenever you're done staring kid, let's talk business," You blush immediately, but roll your eyes, and went to get a sweatshirt and put it on, then sat on the bed.

"So, Mr. Hawks," you say, "Why are we doing this now instead of tomorrow morning like a normal person?"

Hawks chuckles, "(Y/n) have you met me? Actually nevermind," he shakes his head, "I'm not normal in any way shape, or form, baby," You feel your heart race, "It was a test, to see how much I need to work on you, but honestly you seem to be pretty good," He smiled at you, and you return his smile, "I especially liked the thing you did with stopping the force like that, it was a risky, but smart move," he said, "Why'd you do it?" He put his elbows on his knees and looked at you expectantly.

You think for a little bit, unsure of what to say but finally come up with an answer, "Instinct," you say

"Instinct," he repeats "Kid, I'm not stupid, that's not something someone would do on instinct," he mocks. But you give him a serious look, "Well I guess I'm not normal either, cause that was pure instinct,"

Hawks looked shocked and amused, there was a twinkle in his golden eye. He stands up and walks over to you, still sitting on the bed. You look up at him giving him a confused look. Then as quick as lighting, his feathers come at you pinning your shirt against the wall, arms out to each side

"What the hell?" You scream. Hawks just looks at you, hungrily, like he hadn't eaten in years and you were the first meal he found. He slowly walks toward you and puts his hand under your chin, raising it to your face.

"Your parents," he growled in your ear, "They're both pro heroes, why didn't you go to them?". Your heart is racing to skip beats, and your face is definitely red. You see his face up close, and it's beautiful.

You sigh, embarrassed to say this, so you say it as quietly as you can, "Because they didn't give me an offer," you say. The feathers fly back to Hawks, releasing you from his hold.

"Oh, that sucks," he said with a shrug. "Anyway," he said pushing you back up against the wall, this time, making a cage around you, " (Y/n) why is your heart racing so much right now?" he asks giving a smirk.

You breathe trying to calm yourself, but it just makes your heart race faster. However, he can't know that "I don't know maybe it's because a pervert decided to break-in to my hotel room at 12 in the morning," you say snarkily.

Hawks chuckles lightly, and damn, his laugh is cute, made your heart rate go up even more, "Well, someone's angry," You glare at him, "Ok ok, I get the message, kid, no guys allowed," he walks to the balcony door his wings swaying behind him.

"You do know there's this thing called a door right?" you ask him.

"I know (y/n), " He says and then turns around, "Come to the agency tomorrow at 8 am and," he pauses, "surprise me cutie," he says with a wink before jumping off the balcony and flying off into the distance.

what the actual fuck just happened? and How do I surprise him tomorrow?
