"No. You can't meet my parents!" I say defiantly for the fourth time today.
Keigo looked at me with puppy dog eyes, "C'mon (y/n) I want to meet the people who raised you," He crosses his arms. We were in his office, the day I go home for break. For the past month, Keigo has been trying to get me to say yes to let him meet my parents.
I scoff, "You mean the people who mentally tortured and continue to torture me," I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, that," Keigo gives me a sympathetic smile, "besides if I'm there then they can't do or say anything to hurt you, or me for that matter,"
I put my hand on my chin and think. He technically isn't wrong, if he was there then mom and dad can't do anything to hurt me. But, they sure as hell will kill me and bury my body the second he leaves.
"Keigo, I have literally told you this so many times," I huff, "No,"
He looks at me and makes these puppy eyes every time he wants chicken and I say no because we literally always get chicken, "Keigo, the eyes aren't going to work this time," I laugh, "I am officially immune,"
"No one is ever immune to my charms," he says and this winks.
And I blush. Damn it.
"Still Keigo, it's not going to happen,"
*A few hours later*
"How the hell did you convince me to bring you here?" I ask shaking my head in front of my parents door. Keigo flew us here and now we were about to knock on the door. We've been standing for a few minutes. It was a warm day, and Keigo was in nice clothes and I could tell he was sweating.
"Ok, I'm knocking on the door," I said for the fifth time raising my hand, "Do you remember what I told you,"
Keigo rolled his eyes, "Oh yeah, the rules you told me on the way here? Nope not at all," he said sarcastically.
"Keigo," I said in a motherly tone.
"Ugh, Kid. Don't touch you weirdly, don't call you kid, but (y/n). Don't act like your friend but as your teacher, and to talk about how far you've come along training wise," He repeated for the fifteenth time.
I nodded, "I can do this," and then I knocked the door. We waited a few seconds before I heard footsteps coming towards the door and the figure of my father came into view, "(y/n)!" he said bringing me into his arms.
"Hey, Dad," I said into his chest. Mom was always the meaner one, dad is the one usually on my side. Don't get me wrong he pushes me, a lot, but he has been better when it comes to the mental torture.
I break away from dad, and he turn around where Keigo was standing awkwardly with a bottle of wine in his hands. I pushed myself away from dad, and introduced Keigo to him, "Dad, this is Hawks, the Number 2 pro-hero," I say gesturing to Keigo who sticks his hand out. Dad grabs his hand and gives is a few shakes.
"It's wonderful to meet you sir," Keigo says withdrawing his hand from my dad's.
Dad nods, his hair bouncing up and down, "Please come in," he says and gestures inside. Keigo hands him the wine bottle, which dad takes gratefully, "we're going to enjoy this tonight," he comments.
Dad only drinks when mom and I fight....
I walked into my house, a place I haven't been here in a long time (except the time I snuck in) and I quickly realized nothing has changed. The white couches are still there, the TV is still mounted where is it. Portraits of the four of us are in the exact same spots they usually are.
