Your POV
I opened the window to see the beautiful, handsome man that I immediately knew, "Keigo?". Without thinking I swung the window open a little more so he could come inside. He looked hesitant and then squeezed his defined body through. Then once he was on the floor he carefully pulled his wings through the window.
With a sigh of relief, he walked in and then fell onto the bed, "That, (y/n), was so difficult, I am never doing it again," He lay stretched out in a starfish position stretching his wings.
"Sorry, I guess, but you are the one who came here so..." I trailed off. Are we just going to act as nothing happened?
He laughed and then sat up studying my face, and I realized it must be covered in tears, "Were you crying?" he asked his eyes crinkled in concern.
I lazily took my finger and wiped my eye and showed him a dry finger, "no," I lied.
"Kid, you can't lie," He said lowly.
"We already went over this Keigo, my emotions and my personal life are none of your concern. You. Are. My. Boss." I say slowly, hoping he gets the message.
Keigo gets up broadening his shoulders and walks over to me. I didn't move nor did I flinch, I just stood there, glaring at him. He put his hand under my chin lifting it toward his face. His eyes moved back and forth on my face, stopping at my lips and then back to my eyes.
"You've made it clear, and I am respecting that," he muttered, "But, I'm not heartless (y/n). I don't know if you have ever had a job before, but it's good to have a decent relationship with your boss," he stepped back giving me space, "I don't just want to be your boss and mentor, but your friend. Can we work with that?"
I looked at him carefully. I do want to be his friend, more than that actually but I can't sleep my way to the top, "ok," I say finally.

After our conversation and making boundaries, Keigo and I decided to get dinner. We ended up going to his place and ordering a pizza (I didn't want to anger Miranda). He sat on his couch and I sat on the floor and we ate together watching *the last TV show you watched*
Starting the first season, we watched non-stop until all the episodes were done. We were so into it. When the show ended on a cliffhanger, I looked at my phone, "Oh shit, it's 3 am!" I groaned. Great, no more sleep again.
"Don't worry kid, you can come in late tomorrow," Keigo said getting up from the couch. He picked up his plate, while I picked up mine and put them in the sink.
"Thank you," I gave him a grateful smile, and went to put on my shoes.
"Woah, hold on, you're not going back to her apartment now are you?" he gave me a concerned look, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Uh, yeah," I said, like that was obvious, "where else am I going to sleep?" I crossed my hands over my chest.
"Uh, here?" he said it like that was obvious. I opened my mouth to object but he cut me off, "remember, boss, mentor, and friend. Friends let friends sleepover when it's late because friends don't let other friends die," he smirked, "Or do you want to leave because you want to be in the same bed as me again..." I threw a shoe at him.
He laughed, catching it mid-air, and then set it down, "I'm just kidding, there's a guest bedroom in the back," he pointed his hand signaling me to follow him, "sleep here tonight, and then you can go to Miranda's tomorrow morning," he said.
