The monster banged against the window, still trying to shatter it continuously saying, "Who is the strongest," like it is a mantra.

Endeavor stood, or rather, floated in front of the Nomu, which continued its chant. He sent streams of fire through the Nomu, but it had absolutely no affect. The black beast just regenerated its limbs, recovering its freaking 10-pack.

"What do you want us to do Endeavor?" Keigo yells over the shattering glass and the black beast .

Endeavor looked furious, or maybe serious? I don't know all of his expressions are the same, "Hawks, you and (y/n) go and evacuate all of the citizens from the building! I'll take down the nomu,"

"Roger," Hawks and I both say at the same time, and we go to help the citizens.

We run through, I sent blasts of vibrations, helping people safely land on the ground while Hawks sent his feathers to bring people to safety. We went to the damaged section of the building helping people in dire need.

"That nomu is different," I say, when Keigo and I helped people out of the damaged section.

Keigo gives me a blank look, "Not now, we can talk theory later. We need to help Endeavor,"

"And how do we do that?"

Keigo looks up at Endeavor, a worried look approaching his face, "Lend support, even though your quirk works well on its own, today Endeavor needs  to make this win, and he has to really do this on his own," That makes sense. The world needs to feel that even though Endeavor isn't really the fun, happy guy, that All-Might was, he is still someone that the public can trust and look up to.

My boyfriend is so damn smart.

"Alright," I say, Keigo flies up to meet Endeavor and I run on the roofs, but I'm absolutely no help. I watch the two of them fight from the sidelines, helping people who might get crushed by flying debri. And then the Nomu starts spitting out grey balls, generating as Nomu.

Keigo see's me, and flies me up to the roof, dropping me down, "Help me get rid of these?" he asks with that charming smile I love so much.

"Ofcourse," I return the smile. He brings me in a hug, burying my head into his chest, "Stay safe and don't you dare die, you hear me?"

I pull back, "I won't. Neither are you,"

He nods, "Yes ma'am," and flies off. I have about five seconds to appreciate him before I encounter my own vicious Nomu. The grey sludge that it was had arms and legs, and the weird alien head.

I grab a blade from my belt and gather energy to throw it, just like I had trained with the darts. I let the blade fly and hit the Nomu right  through its chest dissipating into nothing. They continued coming at me without stopping while Keigo and Endeavor dealt with the big Nomu.

I continued to take down the Nomu babies, one after the other, until I ran out of blades and my arms were bleeding like crazy. All the grey Nomu children were gone and all that was left was the big Nomu. Just like everyone else, I watched as the new number 1 hero was fighting the big and ugly.

I could hear the crowd buzzing with high energy and high spirits. They think that the number one hero is going to easily defeat this Nomu, and while he definitely can defeat it, it won't be an easy feat. All the Nomu's have more than one quirk, and this one was different. It was smarter. It was talking. This nomu had an upgrade. It's stronger, faster, and smarter.

I watched as Endeavor started losing, the Nomu was beating him. Oh god, is he strong enough for this?

The blood around my hands continued to drip to the ground on my shoes. I was getting dizzy, probably from the blood loss, but I willed myself to stay awake. I need to see that the heroes will always win.

I watched as Keigo sent all of his feathers to Endeavor. Why? I don't know. He landed on a roof, and he too watched as Endeavor made contact with the Nomu. He flew higher and higher, his flames getting brighter and brighter. Keigo's fire engulfed feathers, turned into flaming wings on Endeavors back.

There was a tension in the air. Uncertainty, doubt, fear, was almost suffocating.

And then there was a blast.

Everyone held their breath as we waited, prayed, hoped, he would get back up.

Seconds passed by, everyone held their breath waiting, watching.

And then we saw him. His arm held high.

The hero won.
