I called Tev to break it to him. Sana sagutin niya ang phone niya.

[Hello?]

"Tervian!!!"

[Ang sakit ah! Teka anong meron? Bakit ka tumatawag?]

"I'll take it...I'll be your show's writer."

[Really?!]

"Oo nga! Hindi makapaniwala? Gago kung ayaw mo edi 'wag!"

[Poison Ivy naman! Alright I'll pick you up. Wait...what made you change your mind?]

"Papa...he texted me."

[What did he say?]

"Tanggapin mo na...I'd be a horrible father if I won't do anything to make you do what you really want."

[He's changed.]

"For the better."

[Sige I'll pick you up now.]

"Great. See you."

Naligo ako at nagbihis ng white dress. I dried my hair then nag-braids ako sa side. Sinuot ko ang sandals ko at hinintay si Tev.

Nakarinig ako ng sunod-sunod na busina na nanggaling sa labas. I went out then locked the door. Tinakbo ko ang sasakyan ni Tev.

"Hiiii Ate Miss!"

"Jairus! What are you doing here?"

"Ayoko sa studio eh hehe. Sinamahan ko si Tervian dito para sunduin ka." He explained while I got in the car.

"Sorry for taking too long to decide ah?"

"Ayos lang. Malakas ka kay Kuya Tervian eh."

"Manahimik ka nga, Jai." Tev warned.

It wasn't a long drive because Tev cut off every single car in sight. It was like he didn't want anyone to get in his way.

We arrived earlier than before because he made it quick. Nauna sila kasi ano gang alam ko sa pasikot-sikot dine?

"Ms. Ferrer, si Ivy Mercedez po."

"Ms. Mercedez! So glad that you agreed on this."

"Masaya din po ako dahil dito. Ano pong gagawin ko?"

"Write for us darling! I want a movie that will not only entertain pero gusto kong matuto ang mga manunuod. Let's say the topic is about...toxic filipino traits."

"I'll think of it po."

Binigyan nila ako ng room kasama ang ibang writers at may lumapit sa'kin na babae maybe in her late 20's.

"Hi Ivy! I'm Chelesey!" She introduced herself.

"Oh hello Chelesey! Uhh anong topic?"

"What about...toxic filipino traits nga kasi si Ms. Ferrer talaga ay umalis ng Film Gram para maiwasan ang pamilya niya."

"Why?"

"Diba sarili mong pamilya ang hihila sa'yo pababa? Although hindi lahat pero karamihan lang. They will treat you like shit and when you get successful biglang bait. Ms. Ferrer has been judged for so many times...sabi nga nila lahat nag-sisimula sa baba. I'm sure ikaw rin naman."

"I think...I am." I smiled at her then thought of things that can make this story meaningful.

Toxic Filipino Traits:

Lahat walang kawalan, lahat may pinagdaraanan at lahat may sabi sa bawat kilos at galaw mo. Mahirap mang aminin pero ikaw rin ay ganito.

1.)Adults on Mental Health
Akala nila lagi it's just a phase and we'll grow out of it. Yeah right. Akala nila nakikiuso lang tayo. Kapag naman nasobrahan na sa 'kadramahan' papagalitan. Naayos ba ang problema? Hindi. Mental health is not a joke, a lot of people are being attacked by it.

2.)Discrimination on Sexuality
Masama ba na mag-pakatotoo sa sarili? Kapag ba tinanggap mo ang isang tao na iba ang pananamit at pagkilos ay mamamatay ka? Kung oo then fine iwasan niyo, pero kapag hindi bakit ayaw niyong tanggapin sila as themselves? Take them as themselves because they need it, and you also need to accept yourself because if others don't then you should do it for you.

3.)Expecting to be married in their late 20's
Nothing is wrong with being single in their late 20's, so what if they want to enjoy their life before settling down? As far as I know they know how to make themselves happy and nothing is wrong with that. Everything has it's own time.

4.)High Grades.
Kapag ba bumaba ang Grades sa isang subject ay hindi titigil ang polusyon sa pinas? Grades don't change who you are as a person pero it also doesn't mean you need to quit on it. Your Grades are important because your parents want you to succeed. Claim that success.

5.)Pangarap ng anak mo o Pangarap mo?
Bakit ba ang hilig ng mga magulang na idigta sa mga anak nila ang trabaho na dapat nilang kuhanin? Kapag ang anak mo ay hindi pumasa bilang Doctor kasi gusto niya Painter would that harm the earth? Hindi. Do yourselves a favor and just support your child's dream. Hindi ikaw ang titira sa buhay nila kasi hindi ikaw sila. One day they'll realize their strengths and weakness with your support.

This is not to hit you with pain but to help you realize some of the toxic traits we have. No one else is changing but maybe you should change the awful things about yourself. Baka hindi ka pa ready sa change pero one thing is for sure, the world isn't turning for you, you need to revolve into a better person that you are.
