Saturday came so fast parang kelan lang nag-away kami ni Ivy sa shop ng Ninang niya.
"Mr. Dutch please don't make this fail for us. Sapat na 'yung pag gamit ni Ms. Mercedez sa management natin." Mr. Ferrer told me.
"Wala akong gagawing masama." Or...would I?
"Good. I'm counting on you and my inaanak to do well on this. Keep an eye on Mr. Medina ok?"
"Sure." I didn't want to go on stage without fixing things with Ivy. Gusto ko bago ako humarap sa TV ay naharap ko siya pero hanggang sa dumating na ang oras na 'yon ay wala akong narinig sa kaniya.
"Welcome back to The Talk everyone, for today may makakaharap natin ang mga tao sa likod ng famous film na Burning Sun's Rising." Helga said.
"Everyone please welcome Sacey Walters, Tervian Dutch and Jairus Medina!" Cedric introduced us.
They're wrong...we just acted in the film. Hindi kami ang responsable sa ginawa ni Ivy. She's the one who deserves credit.
"Welcome guys, my gosh Film Gram is so lucky to have you as their actors."
"Yes Helga. The management is really doing well with us." Sacey said.
"So tell me, bakit niyo tinanggap ang script ni Ms. Mercedez?"
"Her work was on point. May sense ang story niya at ang pinapatamaan niya." I said.
"Yes. Ms. Mercedez did a really great job with BSR." Jai added.
"Uhh if you don't mind with me asking..."Cedric said. "It's about Ms. Mercedez, is it true that she used your management?"
"Yes."
"No." Sabay kami ni Sacey na sumagot but it's different.
"Uhh pwede po bang marinig both explanations?"
Pinauna ko na si Sacey dahil masisira na ang buhay nila ni Mr. Ferrer. Soon Ivy...soon no one will believe these two anymore. I already told you no matter what happens. I'm always here for you, the best or worst moments.
"Yes. She used us para maghiganti. All because she wasn't accepted in Film Gram that was years ago!"
"That's a lie. Ivy would never do that." Tumingin sila sa akin at nakita ko na nanlalaki ang mata ni Mr. Ferrer sa'kin sa gilid ng stage. "I've known her for 8 years and I know she can never do that. Oo masama ang loob niya pero hindi siya ang tipo ng babae na maghihiganti. So no, she didn't use Film Gram. It was the other way around. Film Gram used her para mas tumaas ang ratings, and yes inaamin ko na kasali ako sa mga nanghack sa accpunt niya pero it was not my intention. Naloko lang ako para magamit siya." Tinignan ko sa mata si Sacey ng diretso. "If you don't believe me then fine, pero if you think na magagawa nga ni Ivy ang isang bagay na kahit kailan ay hindi dumaan sa isip niya edi bahala kayo."
Tinapos na namin ang interview with some other topics and kapag mamemention si Ivy ay tinititigan ko ng masama 'yung mga host. Ako pa ang kinalaban nila? Psh.
"What were you thinking?!" Nasa office ako kasama ang mga nagpapatakbo sa Film Gram at si Jai. Sacey was also here pero katabi si Mr. Ferrer.
"I wasn't." I leaned back. "Kasi kung nag-iisip ako, I would've just kept quiet."
"Mr. Dutch masyadong risky ang ginawa mo." Mrs. Pilar said. "You talked trash about our management."
"Bakit hindi po ba?" They all gasped becayse I had guts to talk back at Mrs. Pilar. "Ginamit niyo lang si Ivy dahil gusto niyong tumaas ang ratings niyo, anong sasabihin ni Ms. Ferrer sa ugali niyo?"
Sinampal ako ni Sacey tapos tinitigan ng masama.
"You're picking her over your career?! Remember Tervian, Film Gram made you famous!"
"Yes! I'm always going to pick her over this career that all of you just made me do! I tried to accept this kasi si Ivy ang naalala ko. Because of her nalaman ko ang management na ito. This wasn't even famous for me to begin with and who cares if Film Gram made me famous? I already was before this shit happened."
I was famous not publicly but I was famous in her eyes. Kilala niya ako and it felt like I had the world in my hands. Wala akong ibang hihilingin kundi ang atensyon niya lang.
"Pero what now? F.G is already on social media." Jairus said scrolling through her phone.
"Take back what you said on TV or else I'm gonna tell Gireya to fire you."
"On Tuesday you can find my resignation letter on Ms. Gireya's table after my Monday interview on the Late Show."
"Gagawin mo pa ang interview?" Mr. Ferrer asked.
"I'll announce my permanent leave on live Television. Para hindi na kayo mahirapan."
"All because of a girl?"
"All because I'm tired of this. Your management."
Nagbukas ang pinto at pumasok si Ms. Ferrer with her arms crossed and serious face.
"Gi."
"Alex." She said the sat on one of the center chairs. "It has come to my attention that some people hacked Ms. Mercedez's account to make her look bad."
"Ms. Gireya, it was me." I tried to take the blame pero she just smiled at me.
"Sit down Mr. Dutch." Ahh ok. "Alex...have you got something to do with it?"
"No Gireya!" Tumayo si Ms. Gireya at sinampal si Mr. Ferrer. "Gi!"
"You make me sick. Stooping so low to use Ivy as your item para maka angat ang management ko?! I told you! I TOLD YOU SO MANY TIMES! Not to look in their physical appearance but in their talent! That's what the management needs! Bakit ba ang tanga mo?! Bakit hindi mo siya tinanggap noon?!"
"Gireya calm down."
"No! Don't lay a finger on me! Haven't you've done enough damage when you took in Sacey without letting her audition?!"
"Damage?" Narinig ko ang lungkot sa boses ni Sacey.
"Please Gireya, don't say that to Sacey."
"Dahil sa inyo. Bumaba ang ratings ng dream occupation ko. I wanted to manage a studio na may mataas na ratings. Tama nga sila, you are no help. You never were and you never will."
"Tita Gireya that's enough. Ninong was just-."
"And you. Try and hurt Ivy again, wala kang makukuha sa akin kundi ang mawalan ng trabaho. Again with this issue. Pangalawa na ito, one more and that's it."
"Gireya don't." Mr. Ferrer said.
"You know what? No. Out of my building, hindi na kayo kasama sa Film Gram."
"Tita you can't do this. My fans are gonna be upset."
"Sinong fans? 'Yung mga binayaran niyo ni Alex? Si Mama? Si Papa? 'Yung magulang at kaibiga mo? Naaawa ako kay Callie at Dexter. Lumaki ang anak nila na ganito."
Ouch Ms. Gireya. She went out kaya nag-labasan na din kami, I saw Ms. Gi talking to a strange man.
"Yes Dad. Maayos na po, hindi na nila masasaktan si Ivy. Ha? Yes...opo Dad bibisitahin ko na ang mga kapatid ko."
"Kapatid?" Tumingin si Ms. G sa'kin na parang nagulat. "Ms. Gireya diba si Mr. Ferrer lang ang kapatid mo?"
"Tervian? Well...I guess. Dad kasi!"
Tumingin ako sa tinutukoy niya and I froze. B-Bakit andito siya?
"Tito Ivan?" Ngumiti siya sa'kin.
