The One I Hate (Ongoing)

        My mouth parted. Nabalik lang ako sa huwisyo ng dumating ang inoder ni Cloud. Pilit na ngumiti ako sa waiter at nagpa salamat sa kanya.

“I saw everything Yesha. Why did he kiss you?”

“H-hindi ko alam. Tinatanong ko rin ang sarili ko pagkatapos noon. I was dumbfounded after that kiss Cloud.”

“Nasundan ba yun?” Namula ako. Damn, why is he asking me that kind of question?

“Cloud! Why are you firing me with that kind of questions?”

“I think he like you Jariesha. Sa tingin ko may gusto sayo si Nash.”

        Tumawa ako ng pagak at at tinuro siya. “You’re joking right? Nash declared it the first time we clashed, he will never like me. The type of me is out of his list. Sometimes Nash does things that some people misinterpret. May pagka assuming ako pero di ako ganon ka tanga Cloud. He kissed me because he is angry that day.” I answered

        “At bakit siya magagalit sayo? Pwera nalang kung nag kasagutan ulit kayo. But I was there Jariseha and if kung meron man why would he kiss you? Anger is not a valid reason. You can’t kiss a girl just because you’re angry with her. I admit that I kiss Misha when I get angry with her but I did it because I really want to kiss her and also I like her. Hindi mo ba naiisip na baka may gusto din siya sayo?”

        “Naiisip pero Cloud di ibig sabihin nun na may gusto siya sa akin? What do you mean din? You know that I don’t like him, Cloud at alam mong gusto ko si Jace. Remember I hate him. Kung ano man yun let’s just forget it nangyari na wala na tayong magagawa pa.”

        “Yeah you hate him. You hated each other. Terrific! Paano nga ba kayo magkakagustuhan e ayaw nyo sa isat isa.” tumawa ito at tinitigan ako. “But I knew something is happening between the two of you. You’re both denying the fact that you two are attracted to each other. Or maybe you are the one who denies it, not Nash.”

        And that word hit me. Am I really attracted to him? I erase that thought in my mind and snap my finger in front of him.

       

 “Stop, Cloud. Ginugulo mo ang utak ko. Hindi ako attracted sa kanya okay? I will never like him. And please stop playing like a cupid.”

        He laughs and stares at me. He is reading my mind again. Cloud, please stop that! Hindi ko alam, naguguluhan ako. Nash said something that night, pero alangan naman na paniwalaan ko yun? Nagdedeliryo lang yung tao yun ang paulit ulit na tinatak ko sa utak ko.

        “Okay Ill shut up. But don’t say things you are never sure of. Maybe one of these days you found yourself eating your own words.”

 I sigh deeply and never answer.

        Sinimulan namin ang pagkain. Hindi na siya nagtanong pa at napanatag naman ang loob ko. Buong akala ko ay titigil siya. Peron ng makapasok kami sa kotse at nakaandar na ang makina ng kotse ay nagsimula itong magsalita.

“Do you have plan on answering Jace?” he asked that shocked me.

        “Oh, I thought you going to ask about Nash again.” tumawa ako ng hindi di siya tinitigan. “To answer your question, Yes. Alam mo kung gaano ko ka gusto si Jace. He is my Prince Charming.” I said matter- of-factly. Yes I like Jace and everybody knows that.
