it was early in the morning when gwen stood in the bathroom getting ready for a meeting.

stan found a buyer for the hospital, so they all meet him today to convince him.

gwen was so nervous that she almost vomitted into the toilet this morning.

"stop shaking, it's gonna be okay." mark repeats what he told her the whole morning.

"i'm so bad at this stuff. talking to those type of people." gwen sighs brushing her hair. "this is important, mark. if we fail than we're all screwed. and i'm not going back to new york."

"baby, it's gonna be fine. i'll be there and hold your hand." mark assures her.

she turned around and kissed him on his lips. then she moved away just looking at his handsome face.

"i like your beard. please keep it." gwen randomly says stroking it.

"really? i was about to shave it." mark jokes.

gwen only rolled her eyes pushing him out of the bathroom closing the door.

"gwen?" he asks.

"i will go shower." she informs him turning on the water.

"i can join you." mark suggests leaning against the doorframe.

"maybe another time. we have to be on time." gwen reminds him.

"you're so mean." mark says only hearing her laughing.

"okay, so this time, i'll do the peds and trauma stuff first." arizona tells the other as they waited in julian crest's waiting lounge.

"and then i will go with neuro." derek comments sitting next to stan.

"okay, can somebody else do the closing?" gwen asks nervous her knee shaking. "i was awful last time we practiced."

"no, you we're fine." mark assures her putting his hand on her knee making it immediatly stop shaking.

mark always could calm gwen down.

"we really want to end on my flop sweats?" gwen asks him with a raised brow.

"derek, you do the closing." mark looks at derek who nods.

"i'm sorry. it should be just a few more minutes." a receptionist tells them. "can i get you any water or coffee?"

"yeah, coffee. and a bagel or something." gwen nods to her receiving looks from the others. "i'm starving and pregnant and a stress eater. this meeting was supposed to start half an hour ago."

"okay, he's a billionare." callie points out. "one of his minutes is worth 40 of ours."

"i can't believe we got this meeting in the first place." arizona says.

"yeah, nice job, stan." derek agrees.

"i really believe julian crest is our guy." stan assures them. "he made all his money in late-stage internet mobile. medical tech is the one area he doesn't have a foothold. your focus on applied research, it's right up his alley."

"yeah, well, someone should buy him a watch." callie snaps to gwen in a low voice folding her arms as gwen called someone. "who are you calling?"

"heather brooks." gwen replies.

"wait. what are you doing? what happened to not talking to anyone?" callie asks with furrowed brows.

"i left patients behind. she's keeping an eye on them." gwen explains. "i haven't said anything to her. i'm giving her advice."
