gwen slept almost the whole week at callie's and arizona's place.

mark slept at their house. hailey is switching between the two.

slowly, gwen got annoyed with this whole thing.

i mean, yeah, she kept a secret from him. but what with all the things he already did to her?

gwen stood in the kitchen making coffee for them all while callie practice her presentation with arizona.

"okay, so then we coax those initial cartilage cells to multiply-"

"don't look at your cards." gwen cuts callie off.

"so... then we coax those initial cartilage cells to multiply." callie repeats this time looking straight at arizona. "after two months, the, uh, original 200,000 have.... now i've lost my place."

"relax." arizona advises her.

"no, i can't relax, okay?" callie hecticly searched through her cards. "i have to do this speech at the ted conference in less than 48 hours. the ted conference."

"um, do that thing where you picture everyone in the audience naked." gwen advises her. "i did it with mark all the time. only difference he was really naked."

"i'm just... i'm gonna start from the top, okay?" callie says. "articular cartilage. articular cartilage regeneration offers new hope for patients..." callie continues while arizona followed gwen's advice taking off her clothes. "what are you doing?"

"i'm, uhm, helping." arizona smirks.

"i think that's my cue to leave." gwen laughs taking her coffee before walking out of the appartement.

gwen walked through the crowded e.r. when she almost bumped into mark.

"hey." he greets her. "you all right?"

"yeah, why wouldn't i be?" gwen asks confused.

"a tanker blow in the ambulance bay and i was just worried that you might... got hurt." mark explains.

"i'm fine." gwen nods as a woman walked up to them.

"hello, doctor, can you help me?" she asked.

"yeah, what's your problem? are you hurt?" gwen asks concerned.

"not me, my son." she pointed to a little boy in a e.r. bed.

"i think she needs you." mark says before excusing himself.

"sure, i'll help you." gwen nods walking over to the boy's bed.

"they said it could be cat scratch fever or stevens-johnson syndrome..." the mother, casey, rambles.

"whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. who said this?" gwen furrows her brows.

"one of those medical sites online." casey replies moving her hands hecticly.

"it's strep." jo suddenly says next to gwen. "casey, parker's rapid test came back positive for strep throat. i have a prescription for amoxicillin."

"oh, god. thank god." casey gasps relieved. "i just knew it wasn't a virus."

"as soon as we get you signed out, you can take parker home." jo adds.

"thank you." casey smiles stroking her son's head.

"well, i hope your son feels better soon." gwen smiles at the woman.
