After Pedro's meeting was over, he was returning to Regis. Susco and the accountant decided to go with him. Susco would park her car at the airport and get it back the next day when she returned. She was going to fly to Regis on a commercial flight this time. Asking for the EPAC seemed unnecessarily costly to Susco. Besides, she did not want to get used to the Luxuries.
Arora came to inform them before she left. She found Dusk was asking her companions what they had planned to do for dinner. Rosemary shrugged her shoulders and Scarlet seemed preoccupied. But Dusk noticed that the teenagers could barely speak, as their throats seemed to be badly affected by the crush-ices they had eaten. Catherine seemed to be trying to suppress an obviously uncomfortable feeling.
"What is it Cath? You are not feeling well?" Dusk asked with concern.
Catherine gave a watery smile and tried to say she was ok, but she could not speak. And she was sitting, holding her stomach.
"Catherine? Are you having stomach cramps?" Dusk asked with concern.
Both of Catherine's cousins turned to look at her surprised. The young Royals hardly ever fell sick, mainly due to the ardent exercising routines and good food they consumed but also because they were generally monitored continuously by their attendants. But for the past few days, and specially that evening, Catherine had done whatever she wanted, without her attendants to stop her. Being away from her mom, she had grown used to telling her attendants to just shut up.
Dusk mentally berated her sister and felt like giving her a slap for introducing Catherine to Crushed-Ice stuff, but at that moment, she was more concerned with Catherine. To make the matter worse, Lady Crystala had already left for Regis that evening. There was no senior to take the decisions. She considered Rosemary and Scarlet as incapable of being seniors.
"Arora, quickly ask Imperial Security which is the best hospital we can take the Princess and my sister to! They are both not well and we can't take a risk." She shouted.
Arora rushed out of the room, while a worried Scarlet sat beside Catherine. Rosemary stood on the other side of the room and was trying to figure out what they should do. Catherine falling sick was a big problem because she was a pampered baby and everyone's favorite. She also noticed that Dawn Hale was sitting on the other sofa looking equally sick but trying hard to remain unnoticed. To Rosemary, she actually looked more petrified (probably of being scolded) than sick.
Arora returned to the room in a hurry and said they recommended the Military Hospital inside Uni-Viva. The doctors had been informed and the vehicles along with escort was ready to take them. Behind her, 4 officers came running to the room. With Dusk's approval, they picked up Catherine and rushed out. Another two officers came to help Dawn. Dusk ran behind them, feeling lost and confused, followed by an equally worried Arora.
Scarlet and Rosemary were left in the room looking at each other.
"Should we be going for dinner or are we expected to go with them like Dusk did?" Scarlet asked confused. She did not know what Dusk expected to be doing in the Hospital anyway. It was better to let Imperial Security handle it since they were trained to look after that type of a thing. Neither of them had never been in charge of a sick person before and had no idea of what was expected of them.
"I am sure Imperial Security would have called and informed Aunt Shanit and also perhaps Aunt Crystala, probably even Grandfather and Julien. I am wondering, if either of them calls us to ask how Cath is, how will we give an answer? So perhaps we should also go with Dusk. We will need transport, though." Rosemary said.
"If any of them wants to know, they should call the doctor or the Imperial Security Team! Why will they ask us?" Scarlet asked confused. "Going to the hospital like Dusk is meaningless. Perhaps we should go and have dinner and ask Dusk what happened to them... I have Dusk's Duo-Pax. It's better we eat at Student Square. We will be nearer to the Dorm at least."
