As the Mayor's problems seem to be resolved, Dusk decided to return to Ci'gazze. She messaged Lady Crystala and informed her of the same. She was tired of Regis and wanted to go back to Uni-Viva, away from scrutiny of the Royals. She hoped Scarlet will refuse to leave Regis or go back home too. However, when she reached the airport, Scarlet and Susco were waiting in one of the Lounges, with packed bags... and a retinue of maids.
Dusk mentally sighed, realising that the Royal Family would never learn to do things on their own. She firmly told them that the maids are not going to Ci'gazze. Anyone needing maids would have to go back to the palace right away. Scarlet was scandalised but remembering that Catherine had spent a week in Pacific Continental without maids too, she gritted her teeth and agreed to send her maids back.
Scarlet wondered if she could get maids in Ci'gazze, which would mean that she would not actually violate Dusk's condition. She couldn't do anything once they were in Ci'gazze. Surprisingly, Susco seemed to be more upset as she had grown used to the help of the Maids. But she knew, she didn't have choice and at some time would need to give them up.
Dusk also made Scarlet send back most of her bags, promising to let her buy clothes if they run short. Susco needed her bags because she would need to put them back in her home.
The EPAC was waiting. This time, no one paid much attention to them. Dusk's jetsetter reputation was so high that people would have been surprised if she was travelling in a normal commercial flight.
They took off and left for Ci'gazze. Scarlet was not happy because she would have preferred to fly the jet herself like Julien did. She had learned flying from Julien and had high proficiency certificate on her license. She noticed also that they were being flanked by 4 fighter jets. After all, she was from the Royal Family.
... ...
They reached Ci'gazze airport in the late afternoon. Luke's friend, Rusks was waiting for them at the Hanger. Being used to the Royal protocol now, Dusk realised that Rusks was not just a friend of Luke, but most probably a member of Ci'gazze Militia or more likely Imperial Security, because there is no way she would have been left alone by them after the Plot. She smiled and greeted him as she would an old friend she had not seen for a long time.
Two Pink hover-cars were waiting this time. As promised, Julien had provided Susco with her own car now. She opted to go directly to her home as knew it would be a complete mess with her being away for almost a month. She felt upset thinking of it's small size after being used to Continental Pacific and Palace rooms.
Dusk asked Scarlet to drive her to Uni-Viva. Scarlet was happy but wondered why the girl didn't know how to drive but owned 2 hover-cars!
"You will be going to Uni-Viva right?" Rusks asked. "The Princess can stay in Prince Julien's Apartment. He has given me the passkey. Dusk will be in her old Dorm. I think she can apply to the University for a separate apartment now."
"Why can't Dusk stay with me at Julien's Apartment?" Scarlet asked immediately. She had no maids, and she did not know how to pack / unpack her bags. Once she tried before going to Regis and her mom had to get her new clothes. Without Dusk's help, she would be in big trouble.
"I am sure there is enough place for her. Julien's apartment will not be small." She added.
Rusks reluctantly agreed. He knew that Dusk never went to the apartment with Luke. In any case, asking Dusk to stay in a shared dorm was insane now. According to the current news he got, she was extremely rich and had been living in the Palace... Plus she was now a Category Z proctectee of the Imperial Security.
"But its early and I have not visited Ci'gazze before. Going to the university campus is boring. Let's go somewhere else!" Scarlet complained. After all, she had rarely gone out of her home in Romaska and Dusk was a fun character to be around.
