Dusk gave up trying to understand the numbers being thrown about. She was here to learn. If this project worked, she would learn much just as much as she did with the HRT project. HRT got her into Uni-Viva. May be this would get her a job in Micro-Maga and she could stay in Ci'gazze for ever.
"How will I have time to do this in spite of my normal university schedule?" She asked.
Daniel thought for a few seconds and replied, "I am sure the General can get us place inside the Tech Building at the university for this project. That will save you time. And we will have a team working for you. You do not need to do all the coding like you were doing in your college project. Mostly you need to direct and guide the ones who will do the coding. So, don't worry, we will manage..."
Dusk nodded. So earlier she was the junior and the Professor was the supervisor. Now that she was in the Univeristy, probably some juniors will be assigned and she will help them like Professor Handa did at that time.
Luke nodded in agreement. Then he said that it was already pretty late, and he would take both girls home. The meeting broke up.
"Hold on Luke, I am coming with you." Lady Rosemary said with a grin. "I have informed dad that I will stay at the university for a few weeks with 'Julien' on some important work."
Susco no longer stayed in the university. So Daniel offered to drop her home instead. The 3 of them went in Luke's hover-car. It ran on auto mode and Luke did not try any tricks this time, probably because a Princess was with him. Soon they reached back to the university and Dusk went to her room.
Seeing her, the roommates were surprised. How did she get such a nice dress? Was she actually invited to a party they did not know about? Then they realised that she was the one in the news! They both felt very upset at the knowledge that the peasant was given so much importance. But there was little they could do.
Dusk had a shower, changed into her sleeping suit, put her new dress carefully into the cupboard and crashed into the bed to sleep.
... ...
Meanwhile, in the Post-Graduate Residence Complex, Rosemary entered Building 4. PG-4 was different from the rest of the complex. While the other buildings were tall, this was a short, squat building. It was a ground and 3 floor structure, 100 rooms on each floor. On the terrace, was the PG Club, with an Gym complex and clean manicured garden, criss-crossed with walkways, a cycle path, lawn chairs placed at strategic intervals and a large swimming pool. The facilities were open not only to the Post-Graduate students, but in any case, few of them bothered to be members. It was pretty expensive and better facilities was available in the Student Sports Complex and the Student Health Club. Those were also livelier with under-grad and grad students. In the end, PG-Club became the domain of a select few. It was rumoured that it was used exclusively by government officials and few noble families.
There was another oddity of Building 4. Very few students were actually allotted rooms in that building. The building contained about 400 rooms, but actually not more than 50 students were allotted rooms. This anomaly did not catch the eye of people because these statistics were not in public domain. PG-4 was not student-managed, it did not have a RA but a university appointed administrator.
Julien Lidwig drove a hover-car into the basement parking area of this building. He parked at his designated place and got off. Rosemary Grant got off too and picked up her travel bag from the back of the car, where her EA (executive assistant) had placed it. They took the elevator to the third floor, walked to room 385. The door checked the identity of both of them and then slid open. They walked into a modest 1 bed-room suite apartment. The lights lit up, showing a normal but neat apartment, with clothes, books, shoes messily spread around the room.
