Why did it feel weird to sit beside someone he just met a blind date?, Jungwoo hailed from a solid lineage, he didn't hold on to Marks broken edges, nor was he connected to all the strings he had. His jokes weren't funny, the stories not as exciting. What was wrong? Suddenly the older divorcee didn't like spending time with this pretty boy. He just wanted his best friend. He wanted Donghyuck speaking rubbish beside him. He always wanted the waddly teddy bear Pudu to be around him.
"You aren't really listening to what I'm saying are you Mark?" Jungwoo smiled at the dark haired older who found the table more attractive than him.
"Sorry. I'm just stressed with work." Mark lied, he was so used to being called sir, idiot, or an imbecile, or lovingly Simba by his best friend. This felt foreign.
"You little liar." Jungwoo lifted a pretty eyebrow. "Isn't it obvious that you are in love? All you ever do is speak about him. The way you stare so lovingly at your mom's secretary sums It all up that you are in love with Donghyuck. Stop pretending you want to marry me silly." The bronze haired puppy like cute boy chuckled making Mark choke on his coffee.
"Of course I love him. He's my best friend." Shrugged the older.
"You can't stop staring at him, you like him more than just your best friend. I find it cute when best friend's fall in love. Your heart probably screams when he comes closer. We'll get your feelings together gay panic. I'll see you around." Jungwoo chuckled as he walked out of the company cafeteria.
Mark gulped, no it can't be. How can you feel butterflies for your best friend? But then again absence makes a heart grow fonder, Donghyuck had been so busy lately, or that's how it seemed. Actually he was warned to not get in-between young master and Mr Kim until the Marriage. After all these 9 months of friendship avoiding each other wasn't the greatest idea.
Donghyuck felt lonely, Taeyong was always out on dates, Sungchan spent his time sleeping, his best friend had dates to attend. And ever since he began seeing Jungwoo around, his heart always squeezed in unbearable hurt. Especially when Jungwoo had kissed Mark on that one dinner. Eventually he started avoiding the older.
"Baby Pudu? What's wrong?" Taeyong felt his way into the room. Finding his brother curled up into a ball it concerned him.
"Why does my heart feel so heavy and lonely." Donghyuck sniffled, "Jungwoo just came, it's not even two weeks and I've start ignoring Simba. Hyung I miss him so much." The brunette cried into his knees.
"That's because you love him." Taeyong smiled squeezing his baby brothers stubby cold arms.
"Of course he's my best friend. I should be happy that he getting married right?" Donghyuck sniffled.
"You love him more than just a friend." The older boy caressed Donghyucks damp chubby cheeks.
"I'm his mother's secretary. And best friend. That's all. He likes me as a friend." The brunette nervously mumbled.
"A mother knows. It's so obvious you guys like each other, even though you guys seldom express it." Taeyong whispered. "You've always been selfless, for once let love find you baby. It's alright to fall in love with your best friend." The older confirmed as the brothers hugged each other tightly.
On the following morning Donghyuck was walking down the pavement when the familiar hybrid drove next to him. As if it were following him to work. For a moment he internally screamed but when he saw Jungwoo next to Mark he put on a fake happy tight smile.
"I need to buy some important stuff, so you guys head first. Hi idiot." Donghyuck waved at Mark, it was there, right there. The awkwardness that laced their eyes.
"It's freezing outside. Shut up and get In." Mark hissed as the brunette obliged and sat at the passenger seat.
"So Teddy right? What's your actual name? It's always my Teddy Bear." Jungwoo turned around to face the handsomely gorgeous magical creature Donghyuck.
"Donghyuck Lee." Hyuck smiled softly, it hurt to see another touch Marks arm while he drove. What's happening to him?! He possibly can't be in love with the man.
"Such a adorable name. Bae? Should we name our first child Hyuck? If it's a girl it would be Millie." Jungwoo purposely laced his arm with Marks. The older hated it, he hated interacting with Jungwoo like that yet he kept quiet.
"I hate sharing so I would prefer Donghyuck being my name only." Donghyuck hissed, not that he wanted to, it just flowed through. Marks eyes fixed themselves every two seconds on the rear mirror. So did his, what was that loud sound?
The sound of two hearts beating like crazy. As they got off the car, Donghyuck spread walked to the elevator, so he could go to his office and cry. Why was he even crying? He had been waiting for this day, for Mark to get married again then why did it hurt?
Mrs Lee saw her secretary slip down his glass cabin wall as her son walked by with Jungwoo crestfallen. He chuckled,as she crossed her fingers behind her back.
"Hopefully these dense fools would understand that you guys love eachother and that wasn't friendship but love that grew in-between both of you." She rolled her eyes, these two were giving her a headache.
"Mrs Lee, I thought you didn't like Hyuckie around Mark?!" Ten looked confused, the man behind the master brain.
"That's an act, I chose Donghyuck to be Marks wife. I want my son to forget Jaemin, his life should be full of just a that cuddly looking Pudu crying his his heart out. They are going to last so long it would be for generations." Mrs Lee smirked, she knew they were hurting but that was the most important way to make those two idiot realize.
