Donghyuck made sure he finished all Marks pending work that whole week, he wanted to lessen the burden his husband had, staying up late every night he would finish that days pending work. Which in Marks point of view was very considerate.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Donghyuck woke up with a pout, he looked so tired.
"Well you deserved a good night's sleep after finishing these for me. Have a day off Teddy." Mark sat beside the tied brunette who sat up with a grunt.
"As long as you come home early. I'll miss you." The younger wrapped his arms around the olders neck.
"Promise. I'll be home by noon. I'll see you soon Baby Pudu!" Saying so the older kissed the youngers lips as he left for work.
Hachiko SunFlowers, Bounced on the brunette and the two fell asleep immediately, Sungchan would move in next month as Jaehyun was going to take Taeyong on a pre wedding moon. As the going abroad thing was a little scary the older decided to take him on a drive across Korea. When afternoon came and Mark came home just like promised the two babies were still asleep.
"Hachi you weren't even working all night." He chuckled at the puppy heaving his body as Donghyuck breathed in and breathed out.
It was evening when the brunette decided to come downstairs, he gleefully squealed seeing Mark on the couch watching TV. The younger cuddled up next to his husband sweet. The older wrapped an arm around the beauty's waistline.
"Showy me was sleeping. Why do you look so troubled Mark?" Donghyuck crept into the olders lap, Mark sighed softly.
"Jaemin had come to see me." Mark mumbled.
"And?" The golden skinned beauty stared at Marks shifting eyes.
"He's mad that I married you?" Started off Mark.
"Why did you marry Hyuck? You know he's a baby!!! Are you going to avoid him too? Like you did to me?!" Jaemin had lashed out at the older.
"Did I ask you any of these questions when you decided you wanted to marry Jeno? Would you complain that Jeno is too busy and leave him for another just like how you did to me? No I respected your decision and stood by you. So shut it!" Mark snapped back, Jaemin and he were over and that stays put.
"What do you see in him that you don't see in me?! You even stopped dropping by!!" Jaemin shook, like he were just about to break down crying.
"Jaemin we got divorced years back. Donghyuck is my best friend, my wife and I love him more than I could ever love you. So please let me live my life the way I want. Your strings aren't connected to mine anymore." Mark frustratedly yeld.
"You've done a mistake!! He's going to leave you for good!!! No one can love you!!! You are selfish!!" Jaemin hissed running away.
"Mark.......You moved on. But I guess he didn't because he never put on a fight. You aren't selfish, that him. He never gave you a chance, he wasn't ready to, he was selfish so he left. Now don't think of that. You have me." The younger whispered with a soft giggle.
"I love you." Mark lent forward to kiss those plump lips he loved so much.
"Umm......Tell me what wrong now. I mean the non Jaemin related issue." The younger smacked his lips shyly.
"I need to go to Vancouver tomorrow. I'll be gone for three days." The older carefully worded out his words, Donghyuck never understood why he suddenly could spend a day with Mark anymore, perhaps he loved his best friend too much it was getting into him. "Teddy don't start crying. I'll be home in three days." The older whispered softly, the younger just wasn't able to stop himself from crying.
"D-Dont......." Donghyucks lips quivered.
"It's an emergency. And three days will go by quickly. Teddy Bear don't cry please." Mark looked so worried, the younger just ran off crying.
Three days without his Simba was literally so heart wrenching it broke the younger boys heart. He shrugged off his clothes, he showered hoping he'd calm down, but he couldn't. He came on with his boxers when Mark came in with a guilty look on his face.
"Teddy Bear I'm not going forever now am I? It's just three days. I go tomorrow and come back Friday." Mark wrapped his arms around the youngers bare frame.
"I-I......Don't go." Donghyuck started crying more, "Please." He sniffled into the olders chest.
"I'll be with you on New year's Eve. I promise." Mark whispered softly, kissing the boys neck, pampering him with a million kisses.
"C-Call Teddy everyday? Take me with you. I'm your personal secretary!!" The brunette looked up with a cute frown on his face.
"I know but I can't take you on rushy businesses. I love you so much Teddy." Mark connected their lips softly, as the younger lifted himself on his tippy toes.
"I-I love Y-You too......So much." The younger smiled, hugging Mark tightly.
And so the next day Donghyuck waved at Mark early in the morning, he tried his best not to break down crying again but the moment the car drove off he collapsed on the company doors crying. Ten had to go hug the boy tight to comfort him.
"He'll be back soon honey." He assured but the younger bit his lips, he couldn't do it anymore. He missed Mark so much already. When did he fall for him so hard?
"I love him so much and I miss him already." Donghyuck cried into Tens chest, Mrs Lee smiled at the brunette being so emotionally attached to her son but still didn't make an argument about him going for a few days regarding work. That's because Donghyuck was the right one and Jaemin never was. Sometimes only mother's understood certain aspects of life. She chuckled leaving the place as Ten guided the younger inside for a cup of hot coffee.
