16: Your finally home

Her pulse is dropping quickly, shit! This is not good, as we travel through time and space, the alicorn finds my childhood home, Alluveterre.

When the alicorn lands everyone rushes forewords, including Ora.

Amongst the crowd I see my father, Ora, Kenric, a pair of twins I don't know, the rest of the collective, a trio of triplets, and five masked figures.

Ora gets here first, slaps me across the face and starts yelling profanities at me, gosh I didn't think she had it in her.

Ruy takes Soph out of my hands and brings her to my father. Everyone rushes after them, but the girl twin makes the five elves stay back, I can't wonder what's worse. Facing the wrath of the girl twin, or my wife.

"How could you let them do that to SOPHIE!" She demands not caring if she gives away her secret, from the gasps from the five elves, she gave away Soph's secret too.

"Ora calm—," she interrupts me.

"DON'T YOU DARE FUCKING TELL ME TO CALM DOWN, MY DAUGHTERS IN A FUCKING COMA!!" My anger takes control.

"SHE'S MY DAUGHTER TOO, HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN MY SHOES? I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS SOPHIE TILL THEY STABBED HER! SHE HAD HER EYE CONTACTS AND HAIR DYE IN TACT. IT WASN'T UNTIL I SAW HER BOYFRIEND IN A FORCEFIELD WITH AN ALICORN, THAT I REALIZED IT WAS HER! If you were me, you'd understand...Ora I'm sorry." I'm ready to crawl in a hole and die.

She rushes up and hugs me, the five elves I'm the background stare in shock, eyes distant.

Then it dawns on me, "your my daughters old friends."

Forkle

She's lost too much blood, it's not gonna work.

"There's nothing we can do. If we heal her she'll be in a coma, and possibly never wake up, if we don't she'll die, but she'll be at peace." I'm deadpan.

Everyone who wasn't crying then started. Suddenly a figure pops up, its Della Vacker.

Della

Oh my sparkles, when the alicorn first came I was happy, then I saw the blood. It can't be good, I have long suspected Melody Heks to be Sophie. I never wished I was wrong more than now.

After the alicorn took Ruy and teleported, we just waited in the heavy silence.

Suddenly there was a boom, an alicorn just flew down with a Neverseen member on her back, he was holding something red. It was a blood soaked tunic.

Ruy was behind the member.

Everyone sucks in a breath when the member gives the bloody thing to Ruy and he rushes forward.

It was Melody or Sophie, whatever, she needs help.

We manage to stop the bleeding, but she's deathly pale. We need to bring her to Elwin.

We start arguing till I just stop, I can't feel her pulse anymore.

"She needs Elwin! Now!" We all move back to the fighting couple and my kids.

Once they see how bad Melody is, I know they know she's Sophie.

I can't even imagine what they're going through, but I don't care. Sophie needs help immediately.

I hail Elwin as we leave Alluveterre. He's already at Havenfield, so that's where we go.

I also hail all the families, so when we get there Alden, Kesler, and Cassias will be there.

As soon as we get there, everyone gasps as the bloody figure, Sophie, but they don't know that yet, their kids, and the other black swan members.

Vika and Timkin were there already along with Tiergan and Wylie. They weren't with the rest of us because they had to work on the renovations at their homes.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER! I LEAVE HER WITH YOU FOR A PARTY, A PARTY FORKLE! HOW COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED?!" Vika and Timkin look ready to kill someone, but someone starts coughing and gasping.

"Her heart is shutting down!" I shout, we can be fighting, not now. "Elwin she needs you, she needs something! STOP STANDING THERE LIKE FUCKING FOOLS! This is urgent!"

Oralie dissolves into tears, she faints into Kenric's arms. The Neverseen member stiffens and takes Oralie off him.

No one moves but her family, and that's not us. We Vacker's, Ruewen's, Sencen's, Marella, and Dex don't move. All too shocked.

"DO YOU WANT TO WATCH SOPHIE DIE FOR REALS THIS TIME?!?!" The forever sweet Linh yells. "WE NEED TO MOVE FAST, UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE HER." We don't move. We stand, still in shock about what she'd said. That is actually Sophie.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT FAST MEANS?" Linh's losing it, her best friend is dying while we stand here. "IT MEANS FASTER, GO FASTER! HAUL ASS, MOVE. DO SOMETHING, HAUL YOUR FUCKING ASSES!"

We stare in shock, but this time not at Sophie. But Linh. Even when her family stops, she immediately pales.

"Just fix her," she whispers, defeated. She collapses on her twin, but Wylie holds her.

Sophie

I can sense people around me, but it's all very muffled and weird.

Then I can't breathe, I start hyperventilating. It's not working.

My body, it's....

Shutting down.

Elwin

Crap, she's not going to make it.

Now I have to watch her actually die. This isn't good, many people have fainted already.

We take Sophie to her old room in Havenfield, and work on her stomach.

It's a bloody mess, literally. All the empaths have passed out, so has Linh, the triplets, Biana, Dex, Marella, Kesler, the Ruewen's, Della, and Timkin.

The people who are still awake try their best to remain calm, their newest member, an alicorn, sends soothing waves towards all of us.

Ruy holds one of Sophie's hands while her "father", the Neverseen member holds her other. The rest of us just pray.

Soon enough the alicorn gets restless and hits Sophie with a beam from her horn.

As if she can tell Sophie is partly like her, with their matching eyes. Golden flecked, if this doesn't work, they'll never open again.

Though it takes much from the alicorn, Sophie's stomach closes, until all that's left is a tiny scar. Even the color comes back to her face while her breathing regulates.

Everyone is relieved and happy when Forkle ruins the moment.

"So that's where her healing abilities come from!" Everyone growls at the Forkle dude.
