When Eva recieves a call being offered her dream job after so many rejections, she doesn't even care that she never actually applied for the position.

Eva is 23 fresh out of college and struggling to find a job in her profession. So when Roman Reigns agency calls shes just happy so happy that it doesnt matter that it's in the city when she lives on long island. And when she finds out that the job comes with an apartment it makes the decision to take the job even easier to make. When she is finally introduced to her new CEO boss theres a farmiliarity about him and pull to him that she cant explain.
Sure he's talk dark, handsome, and speaks like hes from a different century but hes good to her and the job is a great oppurtunity. sure there are a ton of red flags but she ignores them.
