You had been sick for a few days now, and you felt like something was trying to claw its way out of your throat. Sam had tried his best to keep you from getting out of bed because you were determined to continue research on finding and saving Jack and Mary. ever since Jack was born Mary has been gone. Trapped in an alternate universe, with no one there for here. That is until Jack had found her through a dream walker. You found the girl Jack was looking for but ultimately Jack was trapped as well. The incident which had trapped Jack had also trapped you, Sam, and Dean in a different alternate universe better known as The Bad Place.

Ever since then you had been working tirelessly to find the way to bring them both back. It caused so much stress on your body and it took a toll. Your head hurt, you were tense, and of course, during this time you caught a cold.
You were so upset about being sick so you did the only thing you could do best. You researched and researched, and researched. You had to sneak out at night to do so because Sam was always keeping an eye on you. He wanted to make sure you were better before letting you stress yourself more, which could lead to the worsening of your little ailment.

It was one of those nights when you snuck from your room to get to the library before Sam noticed. After your successful attempt, you moseyed down the cold hallways to get to the library. You stopped mid-walk so you could sneeze quietly. You looked around you and delicately entered the library. Although seeing as you were sick your balance wasn’t the best. You ended up almost falling face-first onto the hard floor. You let out a surprised gasp at your stumble and let out a cough.

“Shit (y/n), be quiet.” you angrily whisper to yourself. Your voice was raspy and your throat hurt like hell.
Finally, you made it to a chair and sat on it bringing a book towards you ready to dive right into the world of lore, and ancient literature.
You got past the first page and moved on to the next one. Sniffling now and again, refusing to move from your spot. You were approximately 4 pages in when you felt someone grab the back of our chair. You jumped at the feeling and it brought on a coughing fit because of the sigh you let out.
Sam’s hand rested on your back gently rubbing it in circles trying to soothe your discomfort. When you were done he moved around so he was facing you.

“What do you think you’re doing up? You know you should be resting.” his voice spoke softly through the thick silence. You rolled your eyes and sniffled once more, “I’m fine Sammy, it’s just a small cold it’s not the end of the world. I can still research, I can still help and this is the only way I can. Let me just have this ok. Let me help.” You almost pleaded with your long-haired boyfriend.
“It’s ok to take a rest and let yourself recover, if you don’t rest it won’t go away any faster. Just come back to bed with me,” he said in a deep sleep filled tone. You looked into those sleepy puppy dog eyes, and let out a sigh of defeat.
“Ok, I guess I’ll go to sleep,” you said with your head hung low in disappointment.
“I just want to help though Sammy. Let me help you.” You pleaded.
Sam just stared at you and then swiftly reached out to pick you up. You let out a small yelp snd clung to his larger frame.
“I’ll bring the books to bed tomorrow and you can help from there ok.” he bargained.
“Alright, thank you, Sammy. Now can I have cuddles?” you asked groggily. You felt his chest vibrate while he laughed and you buried your head in his plain black t.

As you continued your walk towards your shared room you fell asleep. He heard you sniffle a few times in your sleep and smiled at how sweet you were.
