AUG 15TH

NARRATOR POV.

"Interesting choice... The pool boy" Niall said, while watching Adriana take a single frie into her mouth.

There are only so many outcomes for those that are part of this world. A world, the word no doesn't exist, and not even the skies seems to be the limit. Where money is an accessory and your status is the bigger valuable thing you own. With so much power, people easily fall into bad habits, begin to see themselves as superior to others, miss treating people, expecting everyone to know who they are. People like that don't see equality, they see power, fame, status, money, and if you can't provide either of those things, you are irrelevant to them.

"what's wrong with him working as a pool boy?" Adriana asked calm, hoping what had just come out of Niall's mouth was a joke.

Niall frowned both of his brows, confused with where the conversation was going.

Adriana didn't bother to say a single word to make him understand what she was talking about, instead she just raised her brows while taking a sip from her drink.

"Oh no, I didn't mean- honestly I didn't mean to..." While Niall was trying to explain himself, Adriana leaned over the table to reach for her phone, that was placed just over a book, across the table from them "...Offend his profession, I was just joking with you"

While listening to what Niall had to say, Adriana looked at her phone, seating an alarm for 3pm. It was just past 12:30, giving her some good two hours and a half hours to relax by the pool, and try and sober up, before meeting with her father.

"Good..." She drops a laugh at how tense he got, trying to explain himself."... We don't need another stuck up Popstar running around" She placed her phone back on the table.

While they both had a physical attraction to each other, it wasn't mutual. Adriana was the type of person to always lean to what she can't have, or is hard to get, and looking at Niall's body language, she could tell, she could have him any time.

She turns her back to him, walking toward the edge of the pool, putting her arms by her ears, she leans forward, allowing her hands open space through the water, for her body to get in.

Still under water, she swims to the middle of the pool, but quickly finding the surface, leaving only her head above water, she traces her hands through her forehead to the end of her hair, removing any excess of water from her head.

As the afternoon approaches, the pool area begins to empty out, leaving only Adriana, the band, and just a few elder people at the area, making Adriana more comfortable talking to Niall in the public area, but still in the back of her head she knew they weren't supposed to be seen together, and from her fathers phone call, she also was a bit hesitant to interact with them.

"If you are not coming in, at least close your mouth. it's starting to drool'' Adriana hit at Niall, who stood by her table, with his eyes glued at every movement she made, as if she was an angel, who had just fallen from heaven.

At the second he heard her, he jumped into the water, head first, quickly finding the deep end once his hands touched the bottom of the pool. He opened his eyes, finding the angel body under water with him, as he could slowly appreciate that moment, running his eyes from her feet to the back of her neck, he swam closer, just in between her legs, he placed his head, finally coming up above water, with her on his shoulder.
