NARRATOR POV

Harry left and the boys stayed for a few more hours, they all questioned what happened to him and why did he leave so suddenly, but Adriana gave them the same lie she had told Niall. He had to meet with someone.

Justin and the boys had their energy at 100% at midnight but Adriana was barely holding in, soon with the speaker blessing some R&B, smoke and alcohol all over the basement, she was found asleep on Zayn's lap, who she had been having some high conversation about one of Serena's books. Zayn was so excited talking about the book and his point of view of it all that his soft and calming voice ended up putting Adriana to sleep.

Once it all died down, the boys were starting to get tired and started getting up to leave, Justin picked her up and took her to her room, laying her down and tuking her in.

They all have met before at awards and after parties, but never in small and more private spaces. Everyone besides Harry and Adriana was enjoying that small moment, which is not something they get to have often, so if it was a good change to their schedule and if it wasn't for the kitchen incident Adriana would be feeling the same way.

She praised small moments like this more than anyone, and while she was able to push the incident to the side, her mind was often mid thought and sentence, bringing him to the front of her brain, him and the moment they shared. Not the sex, but the small gesture that only lasted a minute after the sex, the moment before Justin showed up.

The three floor house was empty of people but filled with memories. Justin was like a son to Serena, being in the house for the first time in a year and finally alone to look around and take in the reality. Justin decided to stay the night so Adriana wouldn't be alone knowing that she could wake up to one of her panic attacks in the house that was surrounded by her dead mothers memory.

"Justin what are you doing here?" Bethany is surprised to see the young man walk into the kitchen where she was preparing a tray of breakfast.

"I slept downstairs..." he walked up to Bethany to give her a hug "... didn't want to leave her alone here..." his voice was still raspy since he had just woken up "... what time is it?" He asked, stealing a few grapes from the bowl.

"It's 8:45" she answered his question while pouring orange juice on the clear cup.

"Is that for Adri?" Justin asked.

"Yes, Michael will be here at 10 for fitting with his team"

"I'll take it to her..." he takes the tray before Bethany could take it away from him.

"Sh-

"... I will make sure she eats"

"She needs her me-

"Medication... I know Beth, why are you acting like I haven't done this before" he kissed her on the cheek.

"It had been a long time"

While Bethany has seen Adriana before her mother passed away, and her time away from the girl was much shorter than Justin's, it felt like eternity for both. Adriana was their routine, she was like a daughter to Bethany and little sister to Justin, they were part of the few people that knew about her illness, and both took a big part into taking care of her and making sure she was okay.
