Wyatt POV

"Well, well, well. What do we have here? A puny, weal, leech who is constantly clinging to our leader. Why the hell are you still here anyway?! Take a hint and leave already. No one wants you here!", he snarls at me.

Did he just snarl at me?! What the hell?! What is his problem!!

"Look I don't know what your problem is..

"You're my problem!", he all but screams at me while slowing stalking closer to the edge of the pool closest to me.

I'm getting nervous since I'm relegated to the shallow end and do not necessarily want to get out of the pool where he most definitely has the advantage. I'm thankful for my self-defence training but we haven't covered fighting in water yet, obviously. "But why?! I've never done anything to you, you ass! Just leave me alone!", I bark back while I continue to move around the pool, making sure to keep as much distance between us. Man, Adam hurry up and get back in here! "I don't even know your name man so go find something better to do with your time besides being a jerk to a stranger. It's a waste of both our time", I urge him.

He chuckles, then before I know what's happening he is jumping into the pool! He surfaces right in front of me and punches me in the right eye which his heft hand. Shit, it hurts like hell but I try to defend myself. I  see  him pull his arm back like he is about to hit me again, shit! I'm somewhat prepared this time and deflect the punch, which throws him off balance. I swing my left arm as hard as I can and land a solid hit on his jaw! The next thing I know there is a loud growl echoing throughout the pool room, a splash, and Adam is there wailing away on this crazy guy!! Thank goodness!! Then, the door burst open and several other guys storm the pool and drag the crazy guy off!

"Holy shit Wyatt are you ok?? I'm so sorry. Shit, we need to get you back to your room. Dr. Reagan is on her way now and will meet us there. What the hell happened? Why was he here? Why did he do this? What is his problem?", he continues asking me, not really waiting for my answers.

"I have no idea man! I don't even know his name and he hates me! He just jumped in and started hitting me. I mean, what the hell Adam? What is it about me, huh? Do I have a target on my forehead or something, huh? I mean, tell me because I'm tired of this shit. I've had enough of getting beat on to last me a lifetime!", I ramble, embarrassing myself I know but I don't care. I just want to be left alone.

"No Wyatt, you don't have a target on you. Believe me. I will find out what his problem is and he will be dealt with!! Now, we need to get you checked out. We're almost there. By the way, his name is Blaine", Adam firmly states.

We finally arrive to my room. Dr. Reagan is in fact waiting for us. How did she know about this so fast? Jax is waiting for us too, standing beside her and he looks pissed! Jax fiercely looks at Adam and they just stare at each other, looking livid. I really don't have  time to dwell on it since Dr. Reagan immediately begins her examination. She patches me up, gives me pain meds, and instructions for me to rest. She really wants to take me to the hospital for further test but I insist I'm ok and decline. I just want to rest and for Maureen to get home. Dr. Reagan sighs and follows up with, "Ok, but please discuss this with Ms. Maureen when she returns. If you need anything please contact me immediately."

"Oh, Dr. Reagan. How did you know I was hurt and you needed to come to my room?", I inquire.

"Oh, well that. The pool has an emergency link to the hospital in case of injuries", she explains.

"OH, that make sense. Thank you for coming all the way up here and so quickly. I appreciate it", I tell her while relaxing into bed.

"You're very welcome Wyatt", she smiles. She gathers her supplies and leaves.

Jax and Adam are in the the room, observing me like I'm made of glass. "Come on, guys. I'm fine. Bruised but ok. You have to admit. I've had worse. But look, this time I got a solid hit in this time, yeah. I'm just going to take some pain meds, rest , and wait for Maureen. No more excitement for today."

They relax a bit, but not by much. They nod their heads, and leave the room so I can rest. I drift off to sleep, hoping that when I wake-up Maureen will be home.
