Me and the guys are heading upstairs when I spot that damn human Alpha Maureen is letting stay in the pack house, here on our land! Why?? Why the hell is she letting him live here?! A human with werewolves! He's weak, useless. It's not because he's a good fuck. I can smell he has not been with anyone, especially her. Surely there has to be a reason though! She hasn't found her mate yet, we all know that. He gets on my nerves! He better get out of my way. Well, on the other hand I hope he doesn't. It gives me a bit of fun to mess with him and I chuckle.
"Watch where you're going runt!", I snap at him while I shove my shoulder into him, hard. Haha, that will leave a bruise on him. He keeps walking away from me. What, he thinks he's going to ignore me? Like hell!! "Hey, I'm talking to you runt!" So, he thinks he's too good to acknowledge me! Shit, he's about to learn...
"Blaine, what do you think you're doing?!", Adam snaps at me from the doorway. Damn, he looks pissed. Why? Over some dumb ass, weak human?!
"He was in the way and should have moved", I answer him. Why can't he see that the runt should have moved for me?
"No Blaine. I saw what happened. You were taking up the entire width of the staircase. It's called being respectful, which apparently is something you need to work on. I will meet with you when I get back, understand", Adam instructs me with a scowl on his face. Shit! Shit, that lame ass human needs to learn respect for us!
"Yes Adam", I reply since he is a higher rank than me and I don't want to get into a fight with him. Just wait human. I'll teach you about respect!
Alpha Toby POV
That bitch!! How dare she refuse me! Who cares if I'm not her mate! I know I'm not her mate. I've already found my mate and rejected her. She was and never will be worthy of me. I'm an alpha for fuck's sake and she was nothing but an average pack member! What would others think of my mate, MY MATE, being average, nothing special. She was not beautiful, strong, unique in any way. The opposite of me. I need someone like me to stand by my side. Someone like Maureen. I will gain power, influence with her beside me. I will make her submit! Then, when we combine our packs I will rule with more power and have territory. She will be stunning and powerful by my side but I will be in charge! The truck crash was just for fun. Maxine was useful but she got caught that pathetic wench! How bothersome! Now, I have to reach out and cross another disgusting bridge. Well, it will all be worth it in the end. I need to get rid of her mate. Her very human, fragile mate! How could she be paired with a human?! No matter. I will get rid of him easily enough. Maureen, you will be mine!
