Chapter 71-Joining the fight

Alpha Toby  POV

"Report NOW!!" I harshly command to my Beta.

"Yes Sir. The rogues' attack on the brownies continues. They have not conquered the chieftain's building or his portal access room. They are working on it. The brownies proved to be tougher and more resilient than expected Sir. Chieftain Maheo proved extremely capable and although it has been reported he has been injured, severely at last report, we can not confirm death. Battles continue to rage throughout the kingdom. The few witches who are assisting us have not been able to breach the strongholds protected by the chieftain's magic. They continue to work on it though. Um.......Sir the the last report also indicated a redhead was spotted fighting in the ground battle near the chieftain's building. It is believed to be Alpha Maureen from the descriptions given but I have not been able to confirm the sighting."

I hear him stop talking and my blood is boiling. 

She is helping the brownies!!

We haven't taken the strongholds??!!

"Why haven't we breached the strongholds? Why haven't we taken the chieftain's building? We are wolves! They are fucking brownies!!" I bark at him. 

"Well, alpha most of the wolves fighting right now are rogues so what can we really expect from them?" I hear his reply, like being rogues are an acceptable reason as to why the mission is not finished yet!!

"They are filthy brownies for fucks sake! Even rogue wolves should be superior to damn brownies! But, if she has shown up then I will use it to my advantage," I holler at Johnny.

"Yes Alpha"

"I will join the battle. Inform no one! I want the element of surprise when I arrive to the brownie realm and enter the fight. I will leave shortly. Dismissed!" I angrily instruct. 

I can't believe I need to go to that disgusting realm. But I guess that old saying rings true.

'If you want something done right you have to do it yourself!

That bitch won't know what hit her!

I storm across my office and open my personal weapons room.

I will show her what she's missing by refusing me back then!

I will make her MINE!!

I mind link Johnny, "Meet me in the garage in 15 minutes by the Lamborghini Urus. We will be going to Madison's transport site. I want to leave to the brownie realm asap to fight. Dismissed!"

'Yes Alpha'- he quickly replies.

***1 HOUR LATER***

We've been fucking driving forever through the winding roads deep within the Coille Forest and finally fucking arrive to the prearranged  designated parking area. We quickly get out because we will be running in wolf form to the portal. We want a place that nosy damn humans wouldn't stumble upon and fucking interrupt us because then we'd just have to fucking kill them! I don't need anymore fucking headaches than I already have!!

It's about  damn time!! We're finally fucking here and I see Madison standing near the portal, monitoring. I have six of my pack's fighters who are placed nearby for protection. 

Johnny and I  shift then change into our clothes and gear from the bags we carried while we ran. 

We approach Madison so we can get this transport over with. I want to hurry up so I can get to the fucking fight!

I don't like being around this damn witch but she's serving her purpose. She sucking grates on my damn nerves!

"Madison, is the fucking portal ready?!" I snap at her.

"Don't bark at me Toby. I'm not afraid of you and I don't have to do this!" she bites back at me.

I immediately growl at her, "Watch your mouth witch or I'll...

"You'll what? Attack me? Kill me? You may be an alpha but you're nothing to me! I'm here for the money, nothing more, got it?! It has nothing to do with you! I. Am. Not. Scared. Of. You!"

I need her right now for the portal. 

So...I don't kill her right now. It's not because I don't want to though! 

But... I can't lose face in from of my men.

I stalk toward her and growl, then I ........smile. "Whatever helps you function and sleep at night witch. Just do your job. By the way Madison, don't speak to me like that again unless you can take it," chuckle and walk away. 

To calm myself and my wolf, who wants to rip her throat out this second, I remind myself I'll be killing her when this fucking shit is over!!

"Curb your fucking ego . I need to fucking leave now Madison! I want to go to the battle outside the chieftain's main building," I fucking bark at her. 

She narrows her eyes at me but shuts up! 

Yep, that's what I thought bitch!!

I approach the portal and step inside!

***TRANSPORTED TO BROWNIE REALM***

The sounds and smells of fighting reach my senses before my eyes can fully take in the scene around me. 

Thankfully, our arrival is hidden by an alleyway. That way we are protected and have the element of surprise when we enter the fight. 

We quickly survey our surroundings and make our way toward the chieftain's main building. 

I turn the corner, out of the alleyway, and duck behind tress and carts.

The noises are getting louder. Growls, snarls, wood splintering, yells, screams.

That's when I finally see her!
